ゆっくり、少しづづ、読んでみよう。
Someone once said that if God had been a pessimist, there would be no planet earth. Think about it. Positive people are optimistic about the future and, as a result, often make positive results. Negative people look at everything with a pessimistic attitude -- looking for reasons why things won't work, the result is they accomplish little of value.
Young adults are usually optimistic and positive, that's why it is so refreshing to be
around them. As we get older, and more experienced, however, many of us lose the positive outlook of our youth in favor of a more "realistic" point of view. Yet this kind of attitude spells failure for the sales professional.
Positive people radiate energy, enthusiasm, confidence, and a contagious optimism.
Look for the positive in every situation.
Radiate a positive, optimistic attitude and shun those who delight in doubt and gloominess.
長～い。 でも外国語と考えるから長く見えるだけ。
みんな最初は同じです。
頭が英語で考えていないので、どうしも日本語で訳してしまいたいもの。
ここが落とし穴。
きちんと日本語に訳してみようとすると、訳せなくなってしまい、わからないような気がするのです。
そんな時、 当時自分はこんな読み方をしていました。
１．半分日本語・半分英語で考えて読む
２．独り言を言いながら読む （カッコ）で示しています。
半分日本語＝単語を日本語訳
半分英語 ＝ 読み方を英語的に考える ← 関連記事を読む
わからない単語があれば、「聞き流し」でも大丈夫。

and, as a result, ,abc,はカッコ（abc）と言う記号。
それで、結果は、、
often make positive results.
しばしば、 （何か作ってるよ、なにを？）プラスの結果を。
しばしば、プラスの結果を作り出す。
Negative people
マイナス思考の人々は
look at everything
全てを見る （どのように？）
with a pessimistic attitude
否定的な 態度で。
-- looking for reasons
理由をさがしてる （なにを？）
why things won't work,
なんで出来ないのかっていう理由を
the result is
結果は （何の？）
they accomplish
彼らは 成し遂げる （なにを？）
little of value.
ほんの少しの価値。 （あらあら。。）

Yet this kind of attitude

spells failure
失敗を招くよ （失敗とスペルする）
for the sales professional.
セールスを仕事とする人たちにとって。
Positive people radiate
プラス思考の人々は 発散・放射する （何を放射するの？）
energy, enthusiasm, confidence, and a contagious optimism.
エネルギー、やる気、 自信、 そして 楽天的思想の広がり
＊contagious=伝染する
Look for the positive in every situation.
常時、プラスを探すようにしよう！ どんな状態でも
Radiate
発散せよ！ （何を？）
a positive,
プラス思考、
optimistic attitude
楽天的態度、
and shun those
そして それらを避けよう （何・だれを？）
*Shun=避ける
who delight in
喜んでいる者達 （何を喜んでるの？）

*Gloominess = partially dark, or completely dark、depressing, very pessimistic
