そして、今日はずっーと気になっていた『keemala(キーマラ)』へ見学です。
Finally, the long awaited visit to Keemala.
最近はテレビやネットの記事でも多く見かけます。
先日もさま～ぁずさんのプーケット特集で紹介されたばかりです。
I’ve been seeing a lot of news on this property, recently.
Yesterday I saw a special report just on this resort.
Keemala全体でのコンセプトはヘルシーでオーガニックをテーマにしています。架空のタイの部族の村をイメージしたエリアごとにその特徴があります。
Keemala’s concept is about organic and healthy living.
What makes this place so unique is that the rooms are laid out to be like tribes in a forest; like a little Thai village.

プーケットではビーチ沿いにたくさんのホテルが立ち並んでしまい、最近は素敵なヴィラが内地側にオープンしてきています。
In Phuket, there are a lot of hotels lined up by the sea. However, new, beautiful, villa hotels have recently been opening in inland areas of the island.
このkeemalaも2015年12月にオープンしたばかりです。
Keemala opened its doors in December of 2015.
このツリーハウスのようなところに、チェックインするためのフロントがあります。
The treehouse visible here is where the front desk/ reception is located.

今日は旧正月ということもあり、ホテルは大忙しのようで、見ることのできるお部屋がなかったので、ご紹介出来ないのですが、イベントマネージャーのJennyとランチをしました。
Today was the Chinese New Year and they were really busy and fully booked. Hence, I was unable to tour a room. However, I was able to have a lovely chat over lunch with the events manager, Ms. Jenny.
彼女はとてもポライトで、ウェディングがすごく好きなようです。
Jenny has a lot of pride for what she does- in particular, she loves producing weddings.
「ここだったら、ラスティックウェディングが似合うね！」と盛り上がっていたら、。食事が運ばれてきました
She says, “Over here, a rustic wedding is PERFECT!”. She knows what she’s talking about.
このお食事がとても美味しいんです。
全てがオーガニック素材で作られていて、ソースなどもホテルで自家製で作っているとのこと。
The food was exceptionally delicious. Being a health and vitality conscious resort, all the foods are organic. Plus, all sauces and condiments are made right here in the hotel’s kitchen from scratch. Just like eating a home cooked meal.
食べていても体にいいというのが伝わってきました。
Eating their meals are all healthy and nutritious for the body.
ウェディングでは、タイ料理、中華、西洋料理のご用意が出来ます。
For weddings, Thai, Chinese, and Western cuisines can be prepared.
今回は限られた時間での見学だったのですが、ウェディングの写真を送ってくれるとのことなので、こちらは届きましたらまた改めてご紹介致します。

Amazing Thai Wedding プーケットのこと

スコタイホテルでのウェディングを終え、今度はプーケットに移動しました。
The wedding in The Sukhothai Hotel has di\finished. NOw, I move on to the wedding in Phuket.
タイといえばプーケットが一番メジャーなエリアかと思うのですが、私自身は初のプーケット入りです。
Phuket is one of the most popular areas in Thailand, but this is my first time visiting the island.
クラビのウェディングまで少し時間があるので、気になっていた『keemala(キーマラ)』と『iniala beach house(イニアラ ビーチ ハウス)』を視察しに来ました。
Since I still had some time before the wedding at Krabi, I decided to visit a couple of hotel resorts, “Keemala” and “Iniala Beach House”. I’ve been anticipating to see these hotels for a while now.
まずはプーケットのこと。
プーケットといえばビーチかと思い、パトンビーチに歩いて3分のところに宿泊しました。
First, about Phuket.
A beach getaway, I stayed a 3 minute walk from the popular Patong beach,
まずは探検しようと思い、歩いて思ったことは「バリのクタビーチにすごく似ている」ということです。ビーチの雰囲気やお店の出し方など。
ただ、バリのように歩いていて現地の方にすごく話しかけられることが少ないので、ストレスはあまり感じません。気持ち良くお散歩できます(主観ですみません)。
これはタイの方達の国民性もあるかもしれないなぁと思いました。
I decided to take a stroll around the area. My first thoughts were that the atmosphere was similar to that of Bali’s Kuta Beach. As you walk, there are a lot of street shops around.
And like Bali, when you’re out and about, the locals in the area don’t jump at you trying to sell their goods. So you can actually have a relaxing, stress- free walk around the area. But this is just my personal opinion, of course.)
Maybe this is Thai culture, I can’t be too sure.
たくさんのマッサージが並んでいたので、まずはマッサージ。
There were a lot of massage shops lined up on the roads. So naturally, as one does when in Thailand, I got a massage.
経験豊富な感じの方だったので安心。
I’m pretty sure the masseuse is very experienced, so no worries. It was so relaxing.
その後も
Later on,
ビーチを見て回りました。
I looked around the beach.
時期的なこともあるかもしれませんが、日本の方は少なくて、欧米系の方が多いように感じました。
Perhaps due to the time of year, I didn’t see many Japanese people. There were a lot of Europeans and Westerners.
食事をした際にお店の方と話していたら、フランス、ドイツ、スペイン、ロシアなどの方が多いようです。 ドバイから直行便が出ているので、ドバイ経由で来ているようですね。
When I had my food, the waiter informed me that at this time of year, French, German, Spanish, and Russian tourists are common. And since Dubai has started direct flights to Phuket, travellers pick Dubai for their route to Phuket.
アジア圏では、ダントツに中国からの方が多いようです。
たくさんいらっしゃいました。
As for Asian tourists, Chinese were the main nationality. There were a lot of them.
そして翌日は朝から「バチバチバチッー」というすごい大きな音で目が覚めました。
しばらく続いたので、外まで見に行ったら、今日から中国の旧正月でそのイベントの爆竹の音でした。
The next day, I woke up to the sounds of very loud crackling sounds. I went out to see what was going on and saw that people were celebrating the Chinese New Year. The sounds were coming from fire crackers.
まさかのタイで中国の旧正月との遭遇です(笑)。
I didn’t expect to see so much celebrations for the Chinese New Year in Thailand.
キーマラもイニアラのこともまだご紹介出来ていませんね。。。
I haven’t even talked about my visit to Keemala and Iniala….

Amazing Thai Wedding in スコタイホテル

Continuing from my last entry…
This is Nawa, again.
そしてスコタイホテルでの結婚式の当日です。
当日は飾り付けの準備もあったので朝の7時に会場でお客様と待ち合わせ。
(時差が2時間あるので、日本時間では朝の9時です)
On the day of the wedding at The Sukhothai Hotel.
On the day of the wedding, items and decorations needed for the wedding today was already prepared, so at 7 in the morning, I had a meeting with the marrying couple.
(The time difference between Japan and Thailand is 2 hours. So Japan would be at 9AM now.)
場所はスコタイホテルの別館になる『ガーデンヴィラ』。独立した空間になっていて、少人数のご結婚式も承れます。
The venue of the wedding was was going to be at The Sukhothai Hotel’s Garden Villa. It’s a private space and good for weddings with a small number of guests.
ガーデンというだけあって、木々に囲まれて邸宅を貸切りにしたような雰囲気です。
The garden is surrounded by so many trees. It’s like we were in someone’s garden of a mansion.
今回はゲストの皆様にタイの雰囲気を味わってほしいというお二人のご要望から『水掛け式』でのご結婚式。
The guests for this wedding all came to thailand to experience its culture. The couple also decided to go with the traditional Thai “water pouring” wedding ceremony.
お支度よりも前にまずは会場のセッティングからスタート。
First, we start setting up at the venue.
ご用意したメッセージカードを付けています。
We prepared a tree for guests to hang their messages on later.
この小鳥達の裏にはお二人からゲストへのメッセージが書かれています。
The guests will write their messages at the bottom of these cute little birds.
そして、お支度スタート。
Then, the couple gets ready.
ヘアメイクさんはバンコク在住日本人のさやかさん。
なので、細かい日本のヘアメイクも安心してお任せできます！
The hair and makeup was done by a Japanese living in Thailand, Ms. Sayaka.
So no worries about getting your typical Japanese-style hair and makeup done perfectly.
ドレスは当社の提携ショップでレンタル。
The dress was rented from one of our vendors.
こちらのドレスは2wayスタイルで楽しめます。
(ご新婦様が一目惚れされたこのドレスは、私も撮影用にドレスショップに視察に行った時に「すごい可愛い！！！」と偶然にも重なった素敵なドレスです)
This dress can be worn in two different styles.
(The bride saw this dress and immediately fell in love with it. She looked lovely in it!)
ゲストの方が到着される前にお二人の写真撮影タイム。
Before the guests arrived, the couple had a photoshoot.
緑に囲まれたナチュラルな写真が欲しい、と仰っていたご新婦様。
ガーデンでのナチュラルな笑顔が撮影できました。
Since the bride asked for a natural setting with a lot of greenery, we did most of the shooting at the garden.
そして、せっかくのスコタイホテルなので、スコタイらしいお写真も。。。 と思いましたが、ゲストの方が渋滞の心配もなくご到着されたので、そのお写真を撮ることが出来ませんでしたが、カメラマンの方が素敵に撮影してくださったと思います。
Since we were in The Sukhothai hotel is such a wonderful hotel to take photos at (there are so many beautiful photo worthy sceneries in the hotel), we wanted to get more shots of the couple around the hotel, but it was too difficult to get a wide shot with all the hotel guests arriving and surrounding us. Anyway, I’m sure the cameraman took plenty of beautiful photos.

The mother and father also became camera crew.hehe
そして、お式のスタート。
And then,the ceremony began.
日本ではあまり聞きなれない水掛け式ですが、ゲストの方にも参加していただくことが出来て、タイならどこでも行うことができますよ。
The water pouring ceremony is not widely known in Japan. The guests took part in the ceremony. You can participate in any Thai wedding!

These are the guests after the entire group's photoshoot.
披露宴スタート。
The wedding reception starts.
お二人が各テーブルでお食事をされたり、
The couple made sure to visit every table while they had their meal.
タイダンサーやkhimというタイの民族音楽が生演奏されたり。
There were Thai dancers who performed the traditional Thai Khim dance.
と、お二人の遠くまでお越しいただいた方達へのおもてなし。
私から伝えられることは限られてしまいますが、とても素敵なパーティーでした。
In the end, the wedding was unbelievably beautiful!
お父様もこのままホテルに戻って楽しむから、食べられなかった甘いものは持ち帰れるかな？、と仰ってくださり、デザートは一部お持ち帰りされました。
The father wanted to return to his hotel. We asked if he would be able to take home some dessert, and he was able to take a good portion with him!
皆様がそのあとも楽しまれたことを思います。
I think everyone who attended the wedding party will be happy.
タイからのリポートは帰国まで続きます。

Amazing Thai Wedding 到着編

今回のブログはタイからです。
Good Evening.
This is Nawa.
This time I'm blogging from Thailand.
今年の2月はこの1週間に3組のお客様のご結婚式が集中したのでお手伝いにやってまいりました。
This year in February we7ve had 3 weddings to plan and produce.
まずはバンコクの『スコタイホテル』。
そのあとはクラビの『ラヤバディ』で2組。 皆様、半年以上打ち合わせをしてまいりました。
The first will take place at the Sukhothai Hotel in Bangkok.
The other two are going to take place at Krabi Island’s “Rayavadee”.
All these were planned about 6 months ago.
2月のタイは乾季に入っていて天候も落ち着いており、とても過ごしやすい時期です。私からもよくお勧めさせていただいています。
In February, Thailand goes through a drier season where the weather is more calm. I highly recomend this season to everyone.
今回は私は成田からの出発だったので、朝早くから移動。
This time my departure was from Haneda, so I was out from early morning.
朝焼けが眩しいです。
The sunrise was beautiful.
(オススメは羽田発の夜中出発。バンコク朝着です。飛行機の中で眠れるので、あまり体力的に負担がないですよ)
(I recommend depoarting Haneda with a midnight flight so that you arrive at Bangkok in the morning. That way you can sleep on the train and be up in the morning when arrivnig.)
約7時間のフライトでバンコクに到着。
約半年ぶりのバンコクです。
The flight is about 7 hours long.
It’s also been about half a year since I last came to Bangkok.
まずはホテルに移動しようと思ったら夕方になってしまい、バンコク名物の大渋滞。。。
普段は1時間のところが約2時間半の移動になってしまいました。
After arriving, I just wanted to get to my hotel. But what would normally take an hour, took two and a half hours because of the heavy congestion on the roads of Bangkok.
急いで荷物を置いて、スコタイホテルへ！
本当は16:00に担当のニチポンさんと待ち合わせをしていたのですが、私が到着できたのは18:30。
I was rushing. I took my luggage and was on my way to The Sukhothai Hotel.
I was supposed to meet Ms. Nitiporn at 16:00 but with the traffic, the meeting delayed because I arrived at 18:30.
彼女はドリームエージェントの結婚式をいつもお手伝いしてくれる頼れる担当者です。
Ms. Nitiporn is the one always helping us when we conduct weddings at The Sukhothai Hotel.
ニチポンさんと打ち合わせをして、納品物と会場チェックをしてホッと一息。

帰りはすっかり暗くなってしまいましたが、スコタイホテルの素敵な一面が見れました。

This time I'm blogging from Thailand.
今年の2月はこの1週間に3組のお客様のご結婚式が集中したのでお手伝いにやってまいりました。
This year in February we7ve had 3 weddings to plan and produce.
まずはバンコクの『スコタイホテル』。
そのあとはクラビの『ラヤバディ』で2組。 皆様、半年以上打ち合わせをしてまいりました。
The first will take place at the Sukhothai Hotel in Bangkok.
The other two are going to take place at Krabi Island’s “Rayavadee”.
All these were planned about 6 months ago.
2月のタイは乾季に入っていて天候も落ち着いており、とても過ごしやすい時期です。私からもよくお勧めさせていただいています。
In February, Thailand goes through a drier season where the weather is more calm. I highly recomend this season to everyone.
今回は私は成田からの出発だったので、朝早くから移動。
This time my departure was from Haneda, so I was out from early morning.
朝焼けが眩しいです。
The sunrise was beautiful.
(オススメは羽田発の夜中出発。バンコク朝着です。飛行機の中で眠れるので、あまり体力的に負担がないですよ)
(I recommend depoarting Haneda with a midnight flight so that you arrive at Bangkok in the morning. That way you can sleep on the train and be up in the morning when arrivnig.)
約7時間のフライトでバンコクに到着。
約半年ぶりのバンコクです。
The flight is about 7 hours long.
It’s also been about half a year since I last came to Bangkok.
まずはホテルに移動しようと思ったら夕方になってしまい、バンコク名物の大渋滞。。。
普段は1時間のところが約2時間半の移動になってしまいました。
After arriving, I just wanted to get to my hotel. But what would normally take an hour, took two and a half hours because of the heavy congestion on the roads of Bangkok.
急いで荷物を置いて、スコタイホテルへ！
本当は16:00に担当のニチポンさんと待ち合わせをしていたのですが、私が到着できたのは18:30。
I was rushing. I took my luggage and was on my way to The Sukhothai Hotel.
I was supposed to meet Ms. Nitiporn at 16:00 but with the traffic, the meeting delayed because I arrived at 18:30.
彼女はドリームエージェントの結婚式をいつもお手伝いしてくれる頼れる担当者です。
Ms. Nitiporn is the one always helping us when we conduct weddings at The Sukhothai Hotel.
ニチポンさんと打ち合わせをして、納品物と会場チェックをしてホッと一息。
After the meeting, and and checking on the venue and items needed for the wedding, I finally got a bit of fresh air.

中目黒の隠れ家バーで今夜くらべてみました
芸能人や有名人達も多く通い
住みたい街にもランクインする中目黒。
美味しいお店も多く、ちょっと遊べる良い小箱もあり
少し歩くと恵比寿、代官山で踊れる大箱や
好きな服屋があり
春には桜が綺麗で何かと使える中目黒。
昨日、家についてTVをつけたら
日テレの「今夜くらべてみました」がちょうど中目黒特集でした。
ＴＶをつけた瞬間映っていたカウンターに見覚えが
住みたい街にもランクインする中目黒。
美味しいお店も多く、ちょっと遊べる良い小箱もあり
少し歩くと恵比寿、代官山で踊れる大箱や
好きな服屋があり
春には桜が綺麗で何かと使える中目黒。
昨日、家についてTVをつけたら

次の瞬間には違うお店の紹介に入っちゃいましたが
このブルーのカウンターとフルーツでわかりました。
「BAR ELIXIRS」（バーエリキシル）です。
駅から徒歩3分かからない位で
東急ストアの裏手あたりの地下にある隠れ場的なバー。
※入り口の階段が秘密の隠れ場の雰囲気。これを見つけてください。
バーなので色んなお酒があるんですが
やっぱりオススメは「ミクソロジーカクテル」。
リキュールやシロップなど使わず
フルーツや野菜など新鮮な素材とお酒で作ります。
好きなフルーツや素材を選んでオーダー。
その日の気分に合わせて「飲みやすいタイプ」や「しっかりめ」など
オーダーの時に相談できるのも
こういうしっかりとしたバーだからこそ。
（カウンター内にイケメンが立ってます）
さらに嬉しいことに「エリキシル」
料理も充実してます。
まさにダイニングバー。
前菜やオリーブなどのチョットした物から
パスタやメインのガッチリした料理にデザートまで。
（バーなのに自家製生パスタ！）
飲み直しの2件目3件目や
終電後の小腹が減った時など
色々使える中目黒の中でも
使い勝手のイイお店です。
ちなみにちょっとした個室もあるので
女子会的な使い方も。
ウチのスタッフが女子会をやってるなか
カウンターでボスと無言で酒を飲むのも
なんか面白そうと思う昨日の夜中でした。
その時はスタッフの普段とのギャップを
くらべてみたいと思います。
中目で遊ぶ際にはぜひ行ってみてください。

【ＴＶ朝日木曜ドラマ/スペシャリストに登場】
先日放送されたSMAPの草彅剛さん主演のドラマ
「スペシャリスト」。
草彅さん演じる冤罪で10年間服役していた刑事「宅間善人」。
服役中に受刑者のあらゆる犯罪データを記憶した
“犯罪心理のスペシャリスト"が事件を解決していくストーリー。
その初回放送の第1話のシーンで
「東京ベイサイドクラブ」が登場しました。
「スペシャリスト」。

こちらは「サローネ」。
館内チャペルの前のホールです。
このアングルを振り返るとシャンデリア越しに
ベイエリアの景色が広がります。
通常営業時（特にディナー）に
この夜景をバックに写真を撮る方多いです。
天井が高いので写真にも開放感が出てなかなかいい写真に仕上がります。
フェイスブックとかインスタにはもってこい。
26階のメインダイニングへの螺旋階段も使用しました。
実はこの螺旋階段
ウェディングでも撮影ポイントとして人気。
デコレーションするとこんな感じです。
最後は26階のメインダイニング「チコ」にて。
こうやって観てみると
ソファなどの家具やインテリアの小物を変えるだけで
違った印象を受けます。
いつも見慣れているダイニングも全く別の場所みたい。
美術スタッフさんてほんとスゴイ。
ダイニングからは開放感あるこんな景色を楽しめます。
夜景は写真よりも実際の景色の方が綺麗。
加工技術でも勝てない実際の夜景は凄いです。
お台場から花火が上がる日は特に。
東京ベイサイドクラブは今回の撮影以外にも
沢山のドラマや映画でも撮影使用されています。
東京ベイサイドクラブでの食事中に
「あっそういえばあのシーン」と思い出すことがあるかもしれません。
ちなみに1月から【ランチビュッフェ】もスタート。

さて、年末に沖縄にアシスタントとして行ったことは先日のブログでご紹介しましたが、同じ週に東京ベイサイドクラブでネット用の写真の撮影もしていました。
The end of last year was spent assisting in Okinawa. That same week, I was in Tokyo Bayside Club helping with a photoshoot to be used for our online webpage.
東京ベイサイドクラブは天王洲にあるドリームエージェントが運営しているレストランです。

今回は女性目線からの
「少し可愛らしすぎるかな。。。
でも、やっぱり憧れる！」
をテーマに螺旋階段やクラシカルなお城風な雰囲気などレストランの特徴と合わせてを撮影を進めました。
Today we decide to set things right and capture these photos from a woman’s point of view. Which turned turns out to be this kind of view:
Is this going overboard with cute….. yes, and we love it.
撮影中にiPhoneでこっそり撮影。
Between shootings, we shot with out iPhones.

We even brought in a model!

In between the shoots, our young teaｍ members, Miyamoto and Higa, played around with the props and ballooons. It was too funny!
