Two weeks ago, I went to visit my brother. It was a decision I made rather abruptly. I had the week free and being the anniversary of our Mums passing 11 years ago on the 28th of February, I wanted to be with one of my siblings. Graham is my eldest brother. There is 16 years between us and we have grown close over the years. He is a great support and encouragement. He is married to Andrea who is a beautiful, kind and compassionate lady who I love.
It was late when I arrived at the house. The house was still and peaceful. I was warmly welcomed by Graham and Andrea and taken to my bedroom. On the bedside table next to my bed was a tall, thin, white vase holding three white carnations. Flowers have certainly come to remind me of Gods faithfulness and I had an immediate sense of Gods presence with me. God had opened the doors for me to suddenly visit my brother and I felt so loved and cared for by my Heavenly Father for granting this opportunity.
The week that followed was filled with lots of fun visiting my nieces and nephews and meeting their little children. We went shopping, took a ride in Grahams little boat, went to the movies, celebrated birthdays and drank lots of coffee.
By the end of my stay I was filled to bubbling and overflowing with happiness as I had been shown such kindness, love and generosity; I felt like I was walking on clouds. Not surprising, Graham is my brother who loves clouds.
