I have had bees and wasps making their homes in the crevices of my brick work and on the outside ceiling as well. Mika suggested that she bring her water pressure cleaner to rid my home of the pests; I agreed.
A couple of weeks ago, I went up stairs to find a whole lot of dead bees on the floor. Thankfully they were dead and I swept them up and disposed of them in the bin. When I told Mika, she said..." we better do the pressure cleaning."
Last week we started. When Mika came she also brought me a branch from her pink frangipani tree. It has lots of buds and it keeps flowering each day. I have put it in a big vase of water and hopefully I will be able to grow it in a pot one day.
The pressure cleaning did not get off to a good start. I didn't have all the hose fitting. The hose was under too much pressure and kept disconnecting. We took a trip to the hardware store and thankfully our friend Steve, was just coming out of the store. We asked him for help to buy the correct fittings. We were so happy and grateful for his guidance. It made our shopping trip very easy.
Back home again and everything was working perfectly. We cleaned the lower deck and since then I have cleaned the upper deck and the back wall on my own. I am so happy. The house feels like it is sparkling and I think that I have washed away all those little pest nests.
The frangipani gives me joy. It is very pretty and it reminds me of my very good and kind friend who cares about me.
