普段のMIX SHOWは、基本的に収録音源をオンエアするのですが、昨晩は生放送にてDJ MIXしてみました。
テーマは再び、「ENDLESS SUMMER」（笑）

If YMO and Giorgio Moroder right now, produced cutting edge dance/rock music which leads into the future. If you could imagine what Larry Levan (R.I.P.), Ron Hardy (R.I.P.), would be spinning cutting edge dance/rock music right now. All over the world, in Ibiza, Berlin, London, New York, what is the sound at the moment which is the common language of dance/rock music now.
答えはここにあります。鍵となるのはロックミュージックの中で最も若くてニュース性をもつトランスです。トランスは、音の響きとしての優位性に優れますが、BPMが140くらいと長時間のダンスとリスニングには不向きです。そのトランスをBPM120くらいにして、音をより太くファンキーにしました。
それを表現するサウンドシステムも特別です。ターンテーブルはテクニクスSL1200よりも音質に優れ、13.5%のピッチコントロールを持つものをカスタムし、特殊な振動対策を施しています。
The answer is here. The key, is the most youthful, newsworthy trance, in dance/rock music right now. Trance's sound harmonics' prerogative is quite superior but its common BPM of 140 is ill-suited for dancing and listening for long hours. By lowering the BPM of trance to 120 and the sound is transformed into a more fat and funky sound. And the sound system to express this, also is quite special. For the turntables, the turntable used is customized with a more superior sound than the Technics SL1200 and also has a pitch control of 13.5% +/- and is administered with special vibration reduction countermeasures.

The sound system of use for mid high range will be the UK company, ATC's flagship SCM100 ASL build when they were founded and for the low range, we will build a tower with a 2 x 18 inch unit and use 4 units. We are making it possible, a sound reproduction of a extra deep bass, similiar to a proper reggae sound system as well as professional use studio quality, clear mid and high range sound reproduction. From what we know, this sort of dense, rich and raw sound, does not exist. If you know better, let us know. hahahaha.
そして、DJブースは、この４つのスピーカーのタワーの音の中に位置します。これも非常に優れた振動対策があるからこそです。通常は音場からはずれた音のデッドスペースにDJブースを配置します。そのほうがハウリングを起こしにくいからです。しかし、DJ自身が聴こえている音とフロアーの音は全く異なり、DJは音をコントロールすることができません。DJを飛行機のパイロットとするなら、本来コクピットは一番よく見える最前列にあるはずのものが、最後尾にあるようなものです。これでは、飛行機を操縦できるはずがありません。今回はDJとフロアーの音が同じようにセッティングします。それはDJとフロアーのオーディエンスに一体感をもたらします。音の出しすぎ、出なさすぎ、バランスの悪さもありません。もし、音が悪いとすれば、それはDJの全責任となります。
And for the dj booth, it will be positioned so that we will be wrapped inside the sound of the 4 speaker tower. This can only be possible with the superior vibration reduction countermeasure. Normally, the dj booth is positioned at the dead space where sound is disengaged with the sound space. This is because the possibility of acoustic feedback is least likely to occur. But, the sound that the DJ hears and what is heard on the dancefloor, ultimately defers so the DJ is not able to control the sound. If you pretend that the DJ is a pilot of a plane, fundamentally, the cockpit is upfront where you can see everything but it is like having it in the back. If it is like this, the pilot would not be able to steer the plane. For this party, the DJ and dancefloor sound will be set the same. It is to feel the sense of unity between the DJ and the dancefloor audience. There is no too much output of sound, no lack of output of sound or bad imbalance as well. If, the sound is bad, it is the total responsiblity of the DJ.
