A piece of advice: use 'try' instead of 'challenge'.

I've noticed a lot of people making sentences like this:

"I want to challenge something new."

This is too literal a translation of チャレンジしたい.

A more natural translation would be:

"I want to try something new."

Use 'try' instead of 'challenge' - that's my advice for today.

Sometimes, though, 'challenge' can't be translated as 'try'.

Here are two examples:

チャレンジ精神がある = to be determined, to be a fighter

自分の限界にチャレンジする = to push one's limits
