S: I can't believe you convinced me to do that.

Now I'm more of a joke to him than ever.

And to top it off I'll have my own personal nightmare playing on 3000 screens.

And you know what the worst part is?

A: You stole some poor woman's dress?

S: The worst part is that he still has some kind of power over me.

I still care what he thinks.

A: I'm sorry, but how? How can that possibly be?

  The guy is a jerk.

S: Well, that's easy for you to say, but...

A: No. He is a jerk. He is a jerk. It's not a question. He is a jerk.
  Okay, here's what I think.

I think that the truth is that you are terrified of losing Sally Micheals because you'd have nothing to hide behind and you'd have to stand on your own feet.

S: Wow. I didn't see that coming.

A: No. Well... I have amazing insight. I woukd use it on myself, only I don't have any problems.

And I will tell you my other insight. I think you are way too talente and gifted... and unusual to let anyone keep you from standing.

S: That's wonderfully sensitive, Alex. Especially from a man who wears such tight pants.

A: It forces all the blood to my heart.

S: Listen. you were amazing tonight.

A: As were you. The few syllables you got out were absolutely devastating.

S: Does this feel any better?

A: It would if it was on the right side.

  ...And that...felt much better.

ex-lover

ex-wife

ex-gardener
