Shiro no Kokuhaku 2024

(White Confession 2024)

Takeshi Masada (DDT)

"I was the most popular when I was in kindergarten. I got some chocolate and put it in my rucksack, and my mum saw it. She said, "If you don't give a return present, it's no good", so on White Day, she gave me some sweets, and said "Give these to the girls who gave you chocolate".

But, it's really embarrassing to give girls presents, isn't it? I kept them in my rucksack all day, and then I took the bus home. The sweets were still in my bag, so my mum yelled, "I told you to give those to the girls! This is no good!" and she smacked me around (*laugh*). That's how I first learned about Valentine's Day and White Day.

I've always liked bad girls who wear black. When I watch things like Kamen Rider, I want to fall in love with the female villains. I like that kind of "darkness". I like that kind of appearance, but they have to be super serious, too. I like reliable people, and people who care about children and animals.

I don't have any friends, so I want to get married. If I have kids, I can play with them. For me, that's lucky. Because I don't have any friends... On my days off, if I had kids, we could go for a walk in the park together, and I don't need to keep in touch with friends. I want to play together with kids until they get sick of me. I've always liked kids, and if the kids like their dad, too... I'm aiming for that kind of win-win relationship."

"I got 25 chocolates in one day in high school, and I got distracted by training on the day of a date..."

I don't do it so much these days, but basically, I always give return gifts on White Day. In the past, I even made my own. When I was in high school, the most chocolate I got (for Valentine's Day) was 25. I was in the drama club, so I got chocolates from club members, and I got some from girls in the swimming club from a different school. So, that time, I made 25 cupcakes for return presents.

When I was in the third year at elementary school, I really liked a girl who I was childhood friends with, and I bought a keyring that was in two parts, and it was puppies that joined together with magnets. We were just kids, so we didn't really "break up", but we drifted apart... We got back together when we met again in the second year of junior high school. At that time, we each took out our keyrings that we'd looked after all that time, and put them back together. It's kind of a bittersweet memory.

That girl showed love in an overly-aggressive way, so she would hit me when she felt embarrassed, but she was the head of the school volleyball team, so she was really powerful, and she made my ears tingle (*wry smile*)

In those days, I remember dating a girl, and I made plans to go to a theme park with her. We arranged to meet around noon, but I went to the gym in the morning, and I did some training and lost track of time, so I was about an hour late (*laughs*).

My favourite type? If we're talking famous people, I like girls like Anna Tsuchiya and Mika Kano. I like girls who are very confident in themselves, who are strong and independent, because a lot of pro-wrestlers are free spirits.
