今日の宿題はそれほど多くなかったので、余裕を持って予習復習まで手が回りました。よかった^_^
そういえば、ホームステイ先のもう一人の留学生、チリ人の女の子が休暇から帰ってきました。
まだ高校生です！ 可愛いよ～。
なんと！ プロの卓球選手なんだそうです。
たどたどしい英語でいろいろ話してくれました。
でも外国に来てこれだけコミュニケーションが取れるようになってるんだから、立派なもんです。
今は日本の高校生もけっこうホームステイに行ったりするけど、こんなに話せるようになるんだろうか？
「生活をする」という点でも、だいぶ様子が見えてきました。
明日はやっと携帯電話を買いに行こうと思います。
I didn’t have so much homework so I could afford to review and prepare for my classwork.
Another student who stays here with my host family has come back from her vacation. She’s a Chilean high school girl and so cute!
She is a professional table tennis player in her country! Cool!
She told me about herself in broken English.
But she can communicate with people.
I think she is trying very hard.
I wonder how well Japanese high school students who is staying with a host family in overseas speak English.
Now I can picture Kiwi’s lifestyle little by little and how I should spend my time here.
I’m going to go get a mobile phone tomorrow.
