結婚式は後から、3月だったけど、入籍したのは5年前の今日。
兄の挙式に続いて、私達のも振り返ってみました～
Nov,1st is our 5th wedding anniversary. We had our wedding ceremony in March.
私達は鎌倉の鶴岡八幡宮：若宮の挙式でした。
若宮：本宮の御祭神応神天皇の御子、仁徳天皇ほか三柱の神様がお祀りされています。
舞殿：静御前が義経を慕い、心を込めて舞った若宮廻廊跡に建ち、下拝殿とも言います。
当時修復工事中で使用不可。
We held our wedding ceremony at the Kamakura shrine. Unfortunately, some of the buildings were covered to restore an old painting.
両家の真ん中（？）で、私はハワイで挙式を、と、考えていたけど、
が明治神宮で赤い傘を挿して歩く挙式を目にして、あれがしたい
と、神前式にしました。
鎌倉はお寺や神社がたくさんあって、夫の家族や友人の観光にも良いところです。
I was thinkng to have the wedding in Hawaii because it as the middle place for both parents. One day, my husband saw a wedding at the Meiji shirine. He wanted to do the same thing. So, we decided on a Japanese style wedding. We thought Kamakura has many temples and shrines, so, it would be interesting for his family and friends.
あと1週間もすれば、桜も満開だったであろう季節。
It was a week before the cherry brossomes opened.
雅楽の演奏、巫女さんに続いて若宮に入ます
We followed the court music of ancient Japan.
兄の挙式は並んでいましたが、私達は向かい合わせ。
立ったり座ったり、お辞儀をしたり。もちろん側の皆さんは言葉がわからないので、
私達側の見よう見真似で、戸惑ったと思います。
My brother and his wife were sitting next to each other. It was different. Of course my husband's parents and his friends didn't know Japanese and what was going on next. We stood up, sat down and bowed a lot during the ceremony. They needed to follow my family and relations.
鶴岡八幡宮
鶴岡会館は私達だけ人力車。
Only bride and groom used Jinrikisha to transfered between the shrine and wedding party place.
休日だったので観光客等が多く、
行き交う人達に写真を撮られたりしながら、祝福されました
It was a holiday. Lots of tourists took our photo and said congratulations.
披露宴のお色直し中、ゲストにケーキの仕上げをしてもらいました
While we were changing our dress, our friends finished decorating our wedding cake.
5年を振り返ると・・・
入籍した日から、会社の狭いアパートで新婚生活をスタート。
お互い仕事帰りに都合が会った時は、地元の駅で待ち合わせして飲んで帰ったり
北海道や秋田、仙台、日光、京都、奈良、広島、岡山など・・・日本旅行を楽しんだ。
Take a look back 5 years. We started to live together on the day when we registed our marriage document to the goverment. After work, sometimes when we could meet at the station, we went to drink together. We traveled many placies in Japan. Hokkaido, Akita, Sendai, Nikko, Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima and Okayama etc...
すぐに子供が出来て、私は年子合わせて長期育児休暇に入り、
その間グリーンカードを取得してアメリカに引越し、昨年退職のために帰国し・・・
あっという間に子供達は2歳と3歳。
We had a baby and I took a long materenity leave. During that time, I took a visa to live in U.S.A and moved. We came Japan and I quit my job last year. Our children are already 2 and 3 years old.
確かに・・・子供の成長は早い。
だけど、まだ5年しか経ってないの
って、気がする。
Sounds like the time passed very fast. But I feel like it has passed only 5 years.
夏に出会って、その約一年後には彼が日本に来て、
そんで、その1ヶ月半後に入籍だからね・・・
We met in summer and my husband came to Japan about a year later. Then, we got married in one and half months.
5年どころか、もっとず～っと長い間一緒に居たような気がします
I feel like we have been together for a long long time, more than 5 years.
