今日もいい日でした。
今日は、調べたいことがあったので、午前中に法務局へ行き、
午後から土地家屋調査士さんと打ち合せ、その後、見積もりの件で
連絡を取っていた業者さんと話すことができた。
結局、相見積でなく、概算見積を依頼したところ、快く応じて
もらえた。いくら商売とはいえ、専門知識、経験を無料で教えて
もらうのは申し訳ない。親身にアドバイスまで頂いた。どれも納得の
いくものばかりだった。そこで、いくらかの相談料を受け取って
欲しいと申し出たが、辞退された。明日、心ばかりだが、菓子折りの
一つでも送り職場の皆さんに召し上がって頂こうと思う。
明日は、いよいよ学生時代からの友人らと集まる。6人のうち5人は
コロナ後に会う機会があったが、Mとは5年ぶりに会う。6人で集まる
ことができるのが本当に嬉しい。明日が楽しみだ。
It was another good day.
Today, I went to the Legal Affairs Bureau in the morning because
I had some things I wanted to look into, and had a meeting with
a land surveyor in the afternoon, after that, I was able to talk to
the contractor I had been in contact with regarding the estimate.
In the end, I asked for a rough estimate instead of a competitive
quote, and he was so nice to oblige. No matter how much of a
business we are in, I am sorry to ask him to share his expertise
and experience with me for free. He even gave me some friendly
advice. It was all very satisfactory. So I offered to pay him some
consultation fee, but he declined. Tomorrow, I will send one of
the boxed snacks for everyone in the office, though it is only
from my heart.
Tomorrow, I will finally get together with friends from my school
days. Five of the six of us had a chance to meet after Corona,
but I haven't seen M in five years. I am so glad that the six of
us can get together. Looking forward to tomorrow!
