今日は、お詣りと招き猫をもらいに毎月行く住吉大社に行ってきた。
なぜ毎月通うことになったかというと、あれは、Covid-19が下火に
なってきたものの、家に引きこもりがちになり、その一方で、外に
出てリフレッシュする機会を探していたからだ。
今月の招き猫は右手を挙げている方で、商売繁盛の意味を持つ。
48匹の招き猫が集まると大きな猫になる。
Today I went to Sumiyoshi Shrine where I go once every month
to pray and get a beckoning cat. The reason why I decided to go
to the shrine every month is that even as Covid-19 was declining,
I tended to stay at home. But on the other hand, I was also looking
for an opportunity to get out and refresh myself.
This month’s beckoning cat is the one with its right hand raised,
which means “prosperous business”; when 48 beckoning cats gather,
they become a big cat.
