その昔「ベストヒットUSA」を眺めていた当時を思い出しましたが…。
3:09から始まる「Transformers」の部分で、一瞬「超時空要塞マクロス」と「百獣王ゴライオン」らしいカットがあったので確認してみました。
「マクロス」は「Robotech」と表示されています。

『ロボテック』（英語: Robotech）は、1985年 3月4日 より、アメリカ合衆国や南米、フランスで放送されたテレビアニメシリーズ。
竜の子プロダクション（現・タツノコプロ）製作のSF・ロボットアニメ『超時空要塞マクロス』、『超時空騎団サザンクロス』、『機甲創世記モスピーダ』の3作品をハーモニーゴールド USA 社（Harmony Gold USA）がライセンス取得、同一世界の異なる時代と世代を描いた、連続するひとつの大河シリーズとして翻案、再編集された作品である。
テレビアニメにおいては、『超時空要塞マクロス』は Robotech: The Macross Saga （『ロボテック：マクロス・サーガ』）、『超時空騎団サザンクロス』は Robotech: The Masters （『ロボテック：マスターズ』）、『機甲創世記モスピーダ』は Robotech: The New Generation （『ロボテック：ニュー・ジェネレーション』）というタイトルで翻案されている。

ボルトロン（Voltron: Defender of the Universe）は、アメリカ合衆国のテレビアニメ。バルトロンと表記する資料もある。東映製作の『百獣王ゴライオン』と『機甲艦隊ダイラガーXV』の映像を流用したロボットアニメシリーズで、独自に続編が複数製作された。
東映アニメーションとバンダイが制作した全く関連性のない日本のロボットアニメを統合・再編集した、ハイパーリンク形式のアニメシリーズである。社会現象を起こすほどの人気を獲得し、アメリカで最も有名なスーパーロボットとなる。
1984年から1985年までにかけて『百獣王ゴライオン』を編集した第1シリーズ『Lion Force Voltron』（ライオンフォース・ボルトロン）が全75話、『機甲艦隊ダイラガーXV』を編集した第2シリーズ『Vehicle Team Voltron』（ビークルチーム・ボルトロン）が全52話放送された。なお、『百獣王ゴライオン』と『機甲艦隊ダイラガーXV』にあった暴力シーンや死亡シーンはカットされている。
全然知りませんでした。
でも、超時空シリーズの「オーガス」を外して「モスピーダ」を合わせる…。
その発想にビックリです。
ちなみに「ベストヒットUSA」もBS朝日で復活してるんですね。
