Episode 2 - 'When You Least Expect It'
Spencerの登場で大荒れですね
HeidiとAudrinaはあんなに仲が良かったのに
ギクシャクしちゃってるし
さらにさらに
妊娠
てわけでHeidiが妊娠したかもしれないことを
Laurenに打ち明けたときの会話をpick up
L = Lauren H = Heidi
H: Hi
L: I'm making my list for my birthday that's months and months away.
（私の誕生会に呼ぶ人のリストを作ってるの）
H: oh, that sounds fun.
（楽しそうね）
L: I know. How was work?
（仕事は？）
H: stressful...
（ストレスだらけ）
I left early, had a lot in my mind and was really sick.
（早退してきたの。調子が悪くて）
L: Are you okay?
（大丈夫？）
H: yeah, I think that... I dont know...
（まあね）
For the past couple of days, you know how I've been sooo incredably noxious and couldn't eat and....
（ここ数日吐き気がして 食事もできなくて）
so, It's like a part of me thought that I might have been pregnant..
（妊娠したのかもしれないと思ったの）
L: .............
H: ....so...It's like, we are careful and everything but I don't know...
（気をつけてはいたけど わからなくて）
L: Basic thought?
（過去形？）
H: Because I just took test..
（検査薬を使ったの）
L: !!! Are you serious?? Why didn't you have me go up there with you?
（一緒にいてあげたのに）
H: I never like , I'm never so scared in my entire life to do anything.
（あんなに緊張したのは初めて）
It's like "ok..ok.. what am I gonna do!?!?"
（”よし頑張れ”って）
L: I'm so sorry... You should have told me.
（言ってくれれば・・・）
H: I literaly I couldn't even talk about it. I just felt so noxious.
（極度の緊張状態でとても言えなかったの）
L: ...sorry
H: It's like going throught something like this and ...and makes you just be like
（そんな思いをして 考えちゃった）
"Do you wanna tell that person? Do you not??"
（相手に言うべきか）
L: Well, I'm here. I'll talk to you about it.
（私が相談に乗るわ）
H: I know. It's just a...
L: and I won't cheat on you.
（浮気もしない）
H: yeah..
字幕は皆さんが追いやすいようにMTVのものを利用しています）もう「えーーーーーーッ！？」って感じですよね
結局、Heidiは妊娠してなかったみたいだったから
よかったけど
でもこんな状況で
めちゃくちゃnervousになってるときに
Laurenみたいな友達がついててくれると
心強いですよね
さてッ
今日のLet's Use Itは
I had a lot in my mindこれは「考えごとがいっぱいあって」みたいな
何か心配事があって
他のことがままならないときに使いますよ
だから今回のHeidiの状況はまさに
そんな感じですよね
次は
cheat on you"cheat on~"=「（人を）裏切る、だます」
っていう意味ですが
＊I won't cheat on you.
は字幕で「浮気したりしない」となってますよね
それは直訳した「あなたを裏切ったりしない。」
からきてるんですよ
他に使い方を見てみると
He cheated on his girlfriend with another girl.
（彼はガールフレンドを裏切って他の女と浮気をした。）
とか
I can't believe my boyfriend cheated on me!!!!
(浮気するなんて信じられない！)
