Episode 5 - 'When You Least Expect it'

どこまえも前向きなWhitneyの姿勢はやっぱり素敵

今回はSpencerと大モメ中のHeidi&Elodieの会話をPick Up
H:Heidi E:Elodie
H:...Im just so confused.
(でも混乱しちゃってる）
E:Why?
（なぜ？）
H:I don't know its just like. The whole thing happened with Spencer you know.
（スペンサーとのゴタゴタで。。。）
E:How are you feeling?
（今の気持ちは？）
H:I really miss him. Like I'm…
（彼が恋しいの）
E:How can you miss someone that does that to you
（あんなひどい男が？）
H:You don't chose who you love. I really, I really do miss him. He's been like calling me a little bit. I haven’t been answered. He's been texting me and he was just kind of like "please give me a chance to actually be your boyfriend." "Ill make it up to you"
（好きになったら選べない。本当に彼が恋しいの。ずっと電話やメールが来てるのよ。”キミの恋人としてチャンスをくれ”　”努力する”って.)
E:Right. And do you believe him? Do you think that if you do give him a chance you that will be able to trust him?
(チャンスをあげたら彼を信じられると思うの？）
H:I mean…a big part of me does but like you also build trust with people you know.
（できるとは思うけど時間がかかるよね）
E:Exactly and hes done really nothing to show you that he is truth worthy right now. Jorden heart you so are you ready to sign up for that?
（彼はまだ何も証明していない。信用できないわ。彼とまたやっていく気はあるの？）
H:Agh...I don't know what to do.
（どうすればいいのかな）
E:What do you want to do? What does Heidi want to do with spencer. Its up to you. I mean theres nothing else I can say about him.
（あなたはどうしたいの？自分の気持ちは？あなた次第よ。私には何も言えないわ。）

んー

Eldoieが言った「theres nothing else I can say about him」

Heidiは突っ走るタイプだからまさに正解ですね笑

You don't chose who you love

自然と誰かに惹かれ、気が付いたら恋をしてることって多いですよね
もちろん環境や価値観などすれ違いのもと恋愛に発展させないときもありますが素直に感じるままに愛情表現をできるのは素敵ですよね

周りになんと言われても結局自分の感情で突っ走りがちな恋愛ですが、自分で痛みや幸せを感じて初めて成長が見えたりしましよね

HeidiはSpencerを信じ突き進むのでしょうか

Just an Ordinary day

日々出会いや別れであふれている現状の中

「普通」の毎日ってとてもありがたいものですよね

毎日のように「初めまして」があふれているこの仕事をしていて


どれだけ幸せなのかと一人改めて思いふけってしまいました。

当たり前のようで

とてもHAPPYなこと。

いつも「幸せ」そうだねと言われて

「うん」と素直に言える自分でありたいと思います

Episode 4 - 'Who Do You Trust? '

LaurenはBrodyと急接近
HeidiはSpencerにどっぷり浸かってるみたいですね

心配なのはあんなに仲の良かったAudrianとの関係
HeidiのBirthdayでAudrinaが話をしようと試みるも
Heidiは完全にシャットアウト

今回はHeidiとAudrinaがようやく２人で話し合い
の場をもつことになったシーンをpick up

H: Heidi A: Audrina


H: Ok, this is what happened.
(順を追って話そう)
My birthday,
（誕生会での出来事よ）
It was like, you came and I was just like "I don't think it's appropriate to like have this drama at my birthday. Tomorrow, I'll talk to you."
（今は話したくないから日を改めようと言ったよね）
Then next day, and then, you showed up with Spencer that night
（彼とクラブに来たことも）
and I was just like "oh, you just showed up with spencer!?!?!?" Like "Are you kidding me?"
（あの時は信じられないと思ったわ）
I was just kind of like "Why would Audrina show up??". After, I've heard that you've been hooking up with him or whatever..
（あなたが彼と付き合ってるとも聞いた）

A: I was hooking up with spencer?!?! NO! I was NOT!!!
（私が彼と？！冗談でしょ）

H: And you were like "Heidi is so jealous because Spencer likes me."
（私が嫉妬してるって）

A: Ok, I'm sorry but I don't like.. like he is not my type AT ALL.
（悪いけど彼は全然好みじゃないわ）

H: I didn't think he was your type.
（そうでしょ）

A: He came up to me and he kept like grabbing me on the dancefloor
（彼のほうがしつこかったのよ）
and like he was trying to use me to make it look like to you that we are together
and piss you off and like I don't do that to people.
(わざと私と親しそうにしてあなたにヤキモチ焼かせて)

H: I know. I'm really sick of people that coming up to me
（もうウンザリしてたのよ）
and being like "Watch out with Spencer. Watch out with Spencer".
（”彼には気をつけろ”ってみんなに言われて）
I just like "I know!! Just let me be!!"

A: You have to learn on your own.
（自分で見極めなきゃ）

H: Let me decide for myself. You don't see how he looks at me. You were not there when we were alone. You were not there like when we are together.
（私と２人でいるときの彼は誰も知らない）
It's like you can't really judge that.
（なのに勝手な判断を）

A: Were you still with him like 2 or 3 Saturdays ago?
（2～3週前の土曜日は？）

H: 2 or 3... Let me look in my planner and let's see..
（どうだったかな。手帳を見るわ。）
2..if it was 2, then yeah, we were. If it was three, then I think we were, too.
（2週間前は確実に付き合ってた。3週間前もね）

A: Saturday, he called me and I never called him back, ever.
（彼から電話があったの。かけ直さなかったけど）
coz I was like I didn't know what he wants to do and I don't understand. Like it was wierd.
（何が目的か分からなかったから）
I don't know if I should tell you or not.
(あなたには・・・)

H: Of course you should!!
（言ってほしい）

A: I'm gonna tell you though because I think you should know.
（知るべきよ。言ってよかった）

H: Oh yeah.

A: I'm so like relieved now, I feel.
（やっと心が晴れたわ）

H: Cheers to us.
（私たちに）

A: Cheers.
（乾杯）
You need to be careful with him.
（彼には気をつけて）

H: I don't know...
（どうかな）
I don't know...
（分からない）


何はともあれ
HeidiとAudrina仲直りして良かったですよね

Spencerに振り回されて
２人とも大事な友達を失いかけて

男の人もそうなのかもしれないけど
異性が絡むと、必ずもめごとが起きるんですよね


さてッ今回のLet's USE IT!!

He is not my type at all.

「彼は全然私の好みのタイプじゃない」
って意味ですよね

AudrinaがSpencerと付き合ってると疑われて
発したこのセリフですが

"not～ at all"で「全く～ない」っていう強い否定
を表してますね

だから
"What do you think about Spencer?"
と聞かれたとして、普通にタイプじゃないなら
"He is not my type."
と答えればいいし、タイプじゃない感を全面に押し出したいなら
"He is not my type at all."
になりますよ


Show up

「現れる、姿を見せる」という意味ですよ
これは単純によく使うイディオムなので
覚えておきましょうね

e.g.
He never show up in the office on schedule.
（彼は絶対に予定時間どおりに出社しない。）



今後HeidiとSpencerはどうなるんでしょうか
けんか別れしちゃうのか・・
それとも・・
