Fashion Show @ Kyoto Art Grace

昨日は京都のアートグレイスでファッションショー出た。実は「EXPECT Hair Hollywood」の代表、仲良しな喜勝さん、に呼ばれた

Yesterday I was in a fashion show at Kyoto Art Grace. Actually my friend, the very cool Yoshikatsu, asked me to walk.

そして田尻夏樹、重田詩織、と高野汐里と一緒に出た

Natsuki Tajiri, Shiori Shigeta and Shiori Takano were also in the show!

今日のテーマはモデルの私服だった。服結構悩んでたがやっと下の服選んだ。
The theme was "A Model's Ordinary Clothing." I had a hard time selecting my outfit, but I finally chose this set.

久しぶりのショーだったが緊張してなかった。みんなより30分早く着いたので部屋で連絡した

階段下りてプールサイドで歩いた。階段下りるのはちょっと緊張したが無事にできた！
It has been a while since I have walked in a show but I wasn't nervous! I arrived about 30 minutes before every one else, so I practiced my walk in the room.
We had to walk down a stair case and walk along side a pool. I was a little nervous about walking down the stairs, but I was fine and didn't fall!

Old Navy聞いたことある

Old NavyはGAP社傘下の衣料品小売店。アメリカで大人気な店。私も昔よくOld Navyで買い物した。実はいくつかのシャツまだ持ってる

Have you ever heard of Old Navy?
It is clothing and accessory store owned by the Gap Corportation. It's really popular in America. I used to often buy clothes there. In fact, I still have a few of their shirts!

先日ＯＬＤＮＡＶＹのアリオ八尾店・イオンモール大日店のＯＰＥＮ告知とし
て、フルラッピングしたケーブルカーバスを梅田～難波間でＰＲ走行を参加した。車中から手を振って難波駅周辺にて、クーポンのついたフライヤーを配布した。
The other day to mark the opening of two stores in Osaka, they had a PR event using a bus that looked like a cable car. The bus went around Umeda and Namba. I sat on the bus and waved, and also passed out flyers with coupons in Namba.

ちなみにカウガールの仮装を着た

By the way, I was wearing a cowgirl costume.

昨日友達のご飯作った

友達が和食食べたかったのでネットでレシピ探してた。
Yesterday I cooked for my friend.
My friend wanted Japanese so I looked for recipes online.

キッコーマンのホームページに美味しそうレシピ見付かって、自分の気分に合うためにちょっと変えた。
I found some good ones on the Kikoman page, and I modified them a little to match my mood.

鮭のチーズ焼き　きのこ添え
Salmon with mushrooms and cheese

アスパラ食べたかったのでアスパラも入れた

I wanted to eat asparagus so I added them.

だしいらずの肉じゃが
Nikujaga (Japanese pot roast)

ちなみに友達が10点満点あげた(笑)
My friend gave me a 10 out of 10. LOL

昨日美容行って、カートとストレートパーマをやってもらった

私の髪の毛は日本人より細いので弱くしてもらった。
Yesterday I went to the salon for a haircut and a straight perm (is that even real English??).
My hair strands are thinner than most Japanese so they used a weaker version.

そして今日の朝地震のちょっと前起きてそのあと寝られなかった。
私と家も全然大丈夫。
みんなも大丈夫？
This morning I woke up just before the earthquake and I couldn't go back to sleep afterwards.
My house and I are OK.
I hope everyone is, too.

今日も大阪で英語レッスンした

電車本当にやばかった！梅田行きのはめっちゃ込んでた！
I also had an English lesson in Osaka today.
The trains were horrible. The trains for Umeda were packed

レッスン終わって今日OPENしたのH&Mで買い物した

After my lesson I went shopping at the H&M that opened today.

これからゆっくりする！
Now, time to relax!

Graduation

最近バタバタしているのでブログ全然書いてないー

ごめん！
Recently I've been really busy and haven't updated this blog. Sorry!

3月と言えば卒業でしねー
去年の3月まで4年間ずっと学校の先生してた。
When you think of March in Japan, you think of graduation.
Until March of last year, I taught at a junior high school for four years.

んで3月元生徒何人無事に卒業した
すごく嬉しい

私中学校の卒業式行きたかったが仕事あった

みんな久しぶりに会いたかった

And last month a lot of my former students graduated.
I'm so happy!
I wanted to go to the junior high school graduation but I had work.
I really wanted to see everyone!

毎年生徒何人が先生に手紙を書く

今年ももらった

いつも手紙を読んで「やっぱり先生になって嬉しい」と思う

落ち込んだ時など、取り出して読んだりします

Every year some of the students write letters to the teachers.
This year I got a few letter!
Whenever I read them I am always happy that I became a teacher.
When I am feeling down I often read them.

学校辞めてから生徒達よく「レベッカモデル頑張って」、「応援しているよ」などを言ってくれる。
本当に感謝している

Since I quit teaching at the school, my former students often tell me to do my best, or tell me that they are supporting me.
I'm really thankful.

私先生やけど生徒にもお世話になってる(笑)
I'm a teacher, but I am indebted to my students.

みんないつもありがとう

Hades Shoes

先日「Hades」というの靴のブランドの撮影行きました

ブランドは2010年にアメリカに起業されました。今はアメリカ、ヨーロッパ、カナダ、オーストラリア、ともちろん日本に売ってます。靴はハンドメイドのデザイナーズブーツやヒール・パンプス等のオシャレにさせる靴です

The other day I had a photo shoot for the shoe brand Hades.
It was founded in America in 2010. Now the shoes are sold in America, Canada, Australia, Europe and of course Japan.
The shoes are not only fashionable but hand-made and include pumps, high heels and boots.

最近撮影やファッションショーによく使われてるです。
パンクやロック系なので見た目がハードかもしれないが本当にいろんな服似合うと思います！
Recently they have been used in fashion shows and photo shoots. They are very steampunk, but you can easily match them with different kinds of clothes.

ちなみにこのスタイルは英語で「steampunk」と言います。スティームパンク
(1980～90年代の流行の「サイバーパンク」作家（ウィリアム・ギブソンなど）は未来のテクノロジーを使ってサイエンス・フィクションを書いた。だが、「もし現代のテクノロジーがずっと前に発見されていたら？」という仮定に基づいてストーリーを作る人もいる。「サイバー」は20世紀のコンピューターのことだが、スティーム（蒸気）は19世紀の蒸気機関のエネルギー源である。)

全部は自分(と生徒さん)ぼ服と撮影しました

結局5CUT撮りました

All of the clothes I wore were mine (or my student's).
In the end we shot 5 different shoes.

データとUPめっちゃ楽しみにしています

Make Up Photo Shoot

先日メイクの山口裕子さんとカメラマン西田優太さんと撮影した

The other day I had a photo shoot with make-up artist Yamaguchi Yuko and photographer Nishida Yuta.

久しぶりにかっこいい系の撮影だった。そして久しぶりにバストアップや顔だけの写真撮った。
It has been a while since I had a shoot that was cool. And it had been a while since I took pictures from the bust up, or just close-ups of my face.

山口さんのメイクは本当にすごい

そして西田さんの写真はとても綺麗

二人のおかげで美しい写真撮れた

Ms. Yamaguchi's make-up is really amazing. And Mr. Nishida's pictures are beautiful. Because of their skills we were able to take some gorgeous pictures.

二人のスキル高いのでがっかりさせたくなかった。この撮影で自分のスキルレベルアップしたと思う。
The two of them are really strong artists, so I didn't want to let them down. I think that because of this shoot I have improved as a model.
