"Saturdays are Romen Days." Let me start the first Romen activity in 2022! I was thinking about which Romen house deserves the first one in this year. Porlnareff-san recommended me Stand Soba in Iwamoto-cho, but I got off Uguisudani station.

There was Shinanoji where I have been to once in front of UD station. I would like to visit here again to drink beers with cuisines.

I walked from Uguisudani station to Nippori station. There are many JR tracks there.

人生模様が見えますよね。
As Gatanashi-san mentioned before, there are many love hotels close from Uguisudani station. Various kind of people are IN and OUT. I really like observing these people. But I have entered love hotels only very few times so far.
さあ、日暮里駅までろか散歩でやって来ました。

やっぱりね、行ったことのないお店に行きたいんよ。英語を訳すのﾒﾝﾄﾞｸｾ
I got to Nippori station and arrived Rokumon Soba Nippori 2nd shop. I keened to eat traditional gesoten soba noodles. I had some choices to eat traditional gesoten soba noodles, such like Stand Soba in Iwamoto-cho but I already visited there several times. I am a food adventurer, I decided to visit Romen house I have never been to. I prefer Rokumon Soba but other Rokumon Soba shop are closed in every weekend. I knew Rokumon Soba Nippori 2nd shop is opened anytime. Rokumon was full and I needed to wait for minutes to enter.

ゲソ生姜かゲソか、どちらにすべきか．．．めっちゃ悩む。
Rokumon Soba gave me a difficult trial. I had to choose only one between gesoten or geso-shouga(red ginger). Geso-shouga was red and looked like New Year celebration color.
ゲソにしました♪(ﾟ∀ﾟ)ｱﾋｬ
I ordered gesoten soba noodles after deep consideration.
2022初麺リフト！

ムラサキイカのげそ天ですかね、げそがゴロゴロ。美味い！
The gesoten uses Murasaki Ika (purple squid?). It was very good.
昨年末に値上げをしたようです。やむなし。
Since December 2021, the price of soba/udon noodles Rokumon has were risen. I understand it was unavoidable.
お汁が美味いんだよなあ。大満足です。ごちそうさまでした。
Honestly, the factory made boiled soba noodles were not good but gosoten was good and especially the soup was amazing. How can I cook this kind of soba soup?
日暮里って大陸系？台湾系？中国の料理店が多いですよね。
There were many looks genuine Chinese cuisine restaurants in Nippori area. I am not sure the background but I would like to try to visit to one of them. Could you tell me your recommended restaurant? And let's go together!
人気の立ち食いうどん、おにやんまもありました！
There was Oniyanma, the popular Sanuki Udon noodle stand-up restaurant, in front of Nippori station. Some people were waiting in line.
でも一番人気はマッダーナゥ。やっぱ強ええわ。ビッグマック食いてえ。
However, McDonald's were more popular, more people were waiting in line.

I crossed the MOMIJI BRIDGE.
谷中銀座は何回も行ったことあるし、左に進みましょう。
There was a junction toward Tennoji Temple or toward Yanaka Ginza. I visited Yanaka Ginza several times, so I decided to go through the left street. I walked from Nippori to Ueno station.

I worshipped Tennoji Temple and Yanaka Shichifukujin (seven lucky gods) .

It seems there was the five-storied pagora here.
空襲を免れたんですかね、古い家屋が多いです。
There were some Japanese traditional and old architectures and houses in this area. Probably, these were able to avoid from the Tokyo air strike.

In central Tokyo, almost houses have small parking space due to the land value. The driving technique of people who live in central Tokyo is superior than people in other regions. Look at the amazing driving technique!! The is almost no space between the wall and the vehicle.

牡蠣フェスが開催していました！
Oyster Fes was taken place in Ueno Park. As you know, I really like an oyster.
カキフライ探検隊員なんですが、牡蠣食べ比べ3種セットにしました。ダメ隊員ですいません。
There were shops to serve oyster cuisines, such like a fried oyster, oyster ramen noodles, or so. I decided to eat the set of three boiled oysters caught from different places. I am sorry the captain of fried oyster expedition.
美味い、美味いけど味の違いは分からん(笑)
From the back, oysters were Kakikomachi (Hiroshima), Hirotawan (Iwate), and Aioi (Hyogo). I didn't realized the difference of the taste, indeed, but all of them were good. To be honest, it was quite expensive than common sense.
