夏休み、結婚している長女が一人で帰省してきました。ってことで犬も連れて家族で和歌山に旅行です！まずは和歌浦港に来ました。
My older daughter came back my home alone and spent few days with us even though she got married. We traveled to Wakayama prefecture with dogs during the summer vacation. We got to Wakaura Port for lunch. Some people enjoyed fishing there.
ここ、わかうら食堂でランチです。90年前に建造された老舗料亭をリノベーションした食堂で、昭和な雰囲気バリバリです。ここは料理が美味しくて大人気なのですが、特筆すべきは事前に伝えておいたら犬連れで店内で食事できるところです。店員さんもお客さんもみんな犬に寛容でした。
We had a reservation of Wakaura Dining. This architecture was a famous traditional Japanese restaurant and were renovated for the dining in 2019. The architecture had a phenomenon of Showa era because it was built 90 years ago. The noteworth here is being allowed with dogs inside with pre-permission even large dogs. Actually, there were many families with dogs like us but no large dog other than our dog.

色々昼定食がありますが、僕は灰干しサンマ御膳。定食ごとに小鉢が異なるのには驚きです。
We were guided to the window side table and enjoy ocean view while lunch.
They have various set meals for lunch. My spouse ordered sashimi meal set, my older daughter ordered tempura meal set, younger daughter ordered fried chicken with tartar sauce meal set, and I ordered grilled dried pacific saury meal set. Side dished were different among set meals, surprisingly.

We changed white rice to whitebait rice bowl for additional 320 yen. I recommend all of you to chage to whitebait rice bowl. It was so good.
灰干しサンマは香りとふっくらした食感が最高です。大満足です、ごちそうさまでした。他の定食も食べてみたいなあ。
Grilled dried pacific saury was amazing with good flavor and soft texture. I was satisfied so much and I wanted to try other set meals the other day. But to be honest, you shouldn't expect meals there too much.
