A blog friend of mine Mezukun-san is recently following Saturday is Romen Day campaign. Why don't you follow this? I got off at Nishidai Station of Toei Mita Line. Nishidai is next station to Takashimadaira.

I started to walk because the Romen was a bit far from the station.

I walked through the wide main road.

There was MAKIOKA beside the main road. This had two entrance/exit. I entered from the front and exited from the side.

There was a ticket vending machine but cash only.

The inside was narrow. Look at the back, there was a large can of Somi soba broth. MAKIOKA is a roadside Romen, therefore most of customers there were drivers or workers.

They prepared tempura by themselves.

I ordered shungiku-ten(tempura of crown daisy) soba noodles. It was 480 yen.

Soba and udon noodles were probably factory made boiled one and the soup was factory made soup. The shungiku-ten was the type of the one that is fallen apart in the soup. I prefer this kind of shungiku-ten. I observed and analyzed the details of soba noodles and services but I know most of customers don't care. People would be interested in cost and volume and taste.

There was Daito Bunka University. I think the name of this university is famous but I am sure that most of people don't know where this university is located in.

This soba noodle restaurant Takinoya looked popular. I am not sure but I think Sobao-san has already visited there.

DAIEI in front of the Nishidai Station has been permanently closed and are reconstructed to AEON now.

SUN VISTA NISHIDAI PLAZA made me nostalgic and reminded me Showa era.

Thank you for reading. Have a nice day.
