本屋さんに行ったらビジネス本だらけですよね。焼き直しばかりのハウツー本よりも、実際の企業の事例の方が勉強になることが多いです。「東芝の悲劇」は本当に勉強になる本でした。
最初に謝っておきます。東芝に勤めていらっしゃる方、不快に思われたらすいません。
日本人って日本人のやり方が正しいって思ってますよね。僕が外資系に勤めているからかもしれませんが、そんなこと絶対にないですよ。日本の終身雇用のシステムが日本経済の足を引っ張っている側面は絶対にあると思います。日本人の非ロジカルな考え方も、色々な問題を先送りにしがちに繋がってますしね。
まあ、文化や歴史に関係なく、結局、企業って人なんですよね。人財育成と適切な配置、これにつきます。ここ数年は毎日そんなことばかり考えてます。そして社内ガバナンス。いやー身が引き締まる思いになりました。

There are many business books in book stores. I like documentaries. We can learn better from real examples than textbooks. Furthermore, recent textbooks of business are like copy of past popular textbooks.
I read the book "The Misery of Toshiba". As you know Toshiba Corporation has been facing on the crisis of its business. It is almost collapsed. If some of you are working for Toshiba, I am so sorry for this article. This article might make you mad.
You can know why Toshiba has been collapsed by this book.
- Should not promote an inappropriate person to an important position.
- Keep the internal governance system. If every employee cannot speak-up about some wrong decisions, the company would be collapsed.
- Every Japanese is thinking that Japanese behavior and Japanese system are right, but every Japanese way of thinking and Japanese system are NOT right.
- Japanese companies have to change the hiring system from general employment to specified employment. "Shushin Koyo" is no longer suitable nowaday.
- Capable people is crucial for a success of a company. How can we develop capable people? How can we let not capable people be left from a company?
昔読んで、今でも一番お勧めの本は？と聞かれたら、この本を挙げることが多いです。「シャープ崩壊」。シャープにお勤めの方、すいません。
This is one of the best book I have ever read. I was really impressed with this book. The story is almost same with the Toshiba story. Japanese government have to emcourage domestic companies to change. Japanese specific emplyment system and business style are no longer suitable with Globalization. I have to say sorry, if you are an employee or an ex-employee of SHARP.
