グラン・トリノを観ました。
これ、めちゃめちゃ良い映画ですね。色々本当に考えさせられました。
アメリカ人はこの映画を観てどう感じたんだろう？英語の勉強を兼ねてアメリカ人のインプレッションとかを検索して読んでみようかな。

I watched the movie "GRAN TORINO" on Netflix. GRAN TORINO is the name of sport vehicle in the past. In the movie, GRAN TORINO is a symbol of old days. It was an impressive movie, I cannot express my impression about the movie in English. However, I want to let me try.
The story of the movie starts from a scene of funeral ceremony of main character's wife. The main character is a elderly man Walt Kowalski who is played by Clint Eastwood. After the death of his wife, he needed to face on his lonely life but most of neighbors were already immigrants from hmong. He is a veteran of the Korean War. He was a stubborn like usual elderly people and he had a racial prejudice. But he got to accept them and their culture after the case which neighbor kids tried to steel his precious car GRAN TORINO. He was opening his mind to them gradually especially to Sue and Thao. A gang group of young hmong men aimed to Thao for involving him into the gang group, but Walt beated the gang group. As the revenge, they made violence and rape to his sister Sue. The scene was really impactful. Walt decided to revenge to the gang group but...
Again, I was really impressed with the movie. At first, Walt tweeted that "Barbarian" toward his neighbors. However, can you say the society which allow to have guns such like the United States is sophisticated country? I don't think so. I think this kind of country should not lead the world. I would like to know how American felt from the movie. I try to read the impression of the movie by the Americans.

Today's DMM English lesson.
I took a DMM English lesson by a teacher form Uganda. We enjoyed to exchange the current real situation of our countries at the first part of the lesson. He is worried about getting worse of social environment because a lot of people is getting lose their job now. Some people might shoot a gun for steal something. Japanese people cannot imagine that and likely to think Japanese won't do that. I learned from him, the economy is really important to keep our environment safe.
