Thank You

I started writing from New York last December, but unfortunately,
this will be my last post. Through my relationship with Harper’s
Bazaar Japan, I introduced you to interesting people and events that
I thought were wonderful in New York. However, Harper’s Bazaar
Japan’s December issue, on sale October 28th, will be the last one for
now and this will be my last report.

I sincerely appreciate everyone who was kind enough to let me
interview them and everyone who read my articles.
Even though working on the blog was only for a short time,
I had a great experience and enjoyed the unique charm of the blog world…
especially receiving all of your comments and encouragement.
Although this one will be suspended for a while, I am looking forward
to writing for you at a new style blog in the near future.
So please don’t forget me.

Before we part for a while, I’d like to tell you about my new activities and
introduce you to a great new vocal artist. Several times I mentioned that
I am writing a sequel to my novel, “Find Me”

, with the working title,
“Waiting for You”. There were many of my favorite songs by Yumin
mentioned in “Find Me”, but in “Waiting for Me”, I have written my
own songs.

By chance, I found a professional singer, Ayumi Perry, who lives in
San Francisco, to record my song, “Call Me Again”.
Ayumi Perry is a charming, 23 year old, half American/half Japanese woman.

As you can see, she is very beautiful. She is not only a singer, but a
songwriter and model. We recorded my song in San Francisco in early
September.

Although she can’t speak Japanese, she learned enough phonetically,
to sing my song in beautiful Japanese. I was pleased when she told me that
she loved my song. Because of her training in opera and gospel music,
her voice has an usual range and dramatic quality.
She made my dreams come true, by singing my song so beautifully.

I would also like to thank Octaviano Cueto who arranged my song.

The person who introduced me Ayumi was the artist, Keiko Nelson who
appeared in this blog before.

As artists, Keiko and Ayumi were perfectly in tune with each other.
Now Keiko has organized Ayumi’s activities. I can’t introduce my song
“Call Me Again” yet, but in near future, I would like to release it.

Because I’ve fallen in love with Ayumi’s voice, I hope that she will sing
my other songs. That’s why I am creating new songs inspired by the range
of her dynamic voice.
