鳴門市妙見山周辺の神社群
妙見山公園とその周辺の神社では、妙見山の頂上に妙見山神社、妙見山を囲む様にして幾つかの神社が建立されています。 妙見山神社の主祭神は、古事記の一番最初に出てくる神様の天御中主です。

妙見神社 👈公園 Myōken Shrine
桜の花見で賑わう、妙見山公園の中心には、妙見神社と、岡崎（撫養）城が建っています。妙見神社の主祭神は、古事記の 神話の一番最初に現れる天御中主の神さまです。

西宮神社 Nishinomiya Shrine
西宮神社の主祭神は、確か古事記の4番目位に出てくる神様であった様に思います。 更に、この神社の特徴として、裏山に古墳があり昭和の30年代に、一度調査がされていると聞いたことがあります。
市杵島姫（いちきねしまひめ）神社 Ichikishimahime Shrine
この神社の特徴は、 まず鳥居が美しいことで、朱色に塗られて足元は水に流されにくい構造の、安芸の宮島の鳥居と同じような構造になっていることです。 鳥居の周りの桜も、美しいですね。 次に、本殿、幣殿及び拝殿の主要部分だけが周囲を石垣で囲まれた臼のような形の地形の上に建てられている事でしょうか。 水害を考慮して建てられた神社ではないのではと、考えてしまいます。

見上げると岡崎城があります。 私は、ここの神社の桜の木の枝振りが好きです。 八万神社は、日本国内に一番多いと言われている神社の1つです。 知る人は知るですが、ここの神社には、8角形の井戸があります。
