天皇陛下の即位の祭祀（大嘗祭）で用いられる麁服（アラタエ）を調進できるのが阿波の国徳島県の忌部氏です。
The Ibe clan in Tokushima Prefecture, Awa Province, can prepare the Aratae clothing used in the ceremony for the enthronement of His Majesty the Emperor (Daijosai).
忌部氏と縁の深い忌部神社と、 三ツ木八幡神 社の紹介です。

天皇陛下のお御代替わりに行われる、新たな陛下の即位儀式の中で使われる貴重な品々、
One of the indispensable items is the cloth garment (Aratae) specially made of hemp.
その中でなくてはならない物が、特別に麻で作られた布の麁服（アラタエ）です。
Aratae is dedicated by Mr. Awa Imbe of Tokushima Prefecture, Awa Province, and this shrine related to Mr. Imbe is Imbe Shrine.
アラタエは、阿波の国徳島県の阿波忌部氏が貢進するもので、この忌部氏縁の神社が忌部神社です。
According to a volunteer guide at the Miki family residence under the control of Mr. Imbe, both the Imbe Shrines in Tokushima City and Yoshinogawa City in the prefecture make this Aratae and deliver it to the Imperial Household Agency. It is said that he played an important role in it.
忌部氏の統領の三木家住宅でのボランティアガイドの方の話によると、県下に徳島市と吉野川市の2か所にある忌部神社の両方が、この、アラタエを作って宮内庁に納める諸行事の中で、重要な役割を果たされたとのことです。
