You may not want to read this because this is not the thing you...well most of the people would appreciate to hear.
It's about my complaints against the concept of matureness in Japan. If you want... it's your choice. go ahead and read it.
I just cant believe what i heard from TV just now. The famous actor was talking about some shit and he said "you know what. women over 30, they are not female anymore." What the fxxx!! You better grow up, bastard! What I cant stand about being in Japan is hearing those bull shits. When I was NOT in Japan (not including Asian countries), I encountered many attractive women who were way over 30. And all of them were confortable with their age. One of the reason why they are satisfied with who they are, is men's behavior towards mature ladis. I am not saying foreign guys knows women better, but they know how to treat women better. Men should have respect towards any women. Yeah, you might say "hey, not everybody," yeah, you're right. not everyone. but hey, if you compare with men, how to treat aged women in Japan, there are HUGE differences. In Japan, some people, especially men, think women being young is the best thing in the world. On TV, radio, whatever the publications are, sadly MANY people have no hesitation to say it loud... "I LOVE TEENNAGERS!!!" "I LOVE HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS!!" And acually many educated, mature women are feeling bad about their maturity. Of course you have to care about physically aging sometimes, that's normal, but please do not be afraid of your matureness and please dont care about those men who are mentally ill, called "pedofilia".
If I say without any hesitation of being misunderstood, I never met real "mature" women in Japan since I came back here. I met some "aged" women, but they were just aging, struggling and complaining about their past and future. Come ooon! You aged for nothing? I don't think so: You must have learnd many precious things from your experiences, romance, success, failure etc... you should be proud of it! You have all the things the young teenagers do not have even though they are desparated for!!! And I heatily say, it's all Japanese men's fault!!! If Japanese men treat women right, Japan will be full of fabulous women. Hey, you, Japanese man(who loves kids), Don't shoot yourself in the foot!
"The GRE is required of all Ph.D. applicants and any M.A. applicants who are seeking a graduate teaching or research assistantship."
「うちの最低条件はverbal/quantitative各500点!
MA applicants without financial support
GRE is not requirement but recommended.
Department
それからGPA(正直、私のGPAは並以下)。」
①GRE
②GPA
③Persnal statement
(the committee looks at your personal statement to see how well your goals fit with the departmental goals. I do know of applicants not receiving admission if their goals do not coincide with departmental goals. )
