昨日アヒルとアヒルママは買い物に行ってきました。
ママが小学生だった頃からの友達のユキちゃんと一緒です。
彼女とは中学も高校も一緒で、大親友の一人。
高校の時はクラスも部活も3年間ずっと一緒。
かなり密な3年間でした。
Little duck and Mama duck went shopping yesterday with Mama's friend Yuki-chan.
She's one of Mama's best friends who she's known since elementary school.
We were in the same class and same clubs for three years while we were high school students.
For three years we were always together...
お互いに結婚して、お母さんになり、そして現在。
自分がお母さんになったという事実に慣れていないアヒルママにとっては、ユキちゃんと子連れで遊ぶのはまだ不思議な感じです。
お母さんになっているけど、ちゃんとお母さんになれてるのかな？
Both of us are married now, and I just became a mother.
I'm not used to thinking of myself as a mother yet, so playing with Yuki-chan feels strange.
I became a mother, but I'm not sure if I 'm a good mother or not...

これはアヒルママが一目惚れして買ったもの。
I liked these at first sight.
いつも男の子に間違えられるアヒルちゃんに少しでも女の子らしいものを・・・。
I wanted cute clothes which looked feminine because she is usually regarded as a boy.
この４点セットはユキちゃんの「ベストは体温調節に重宝するよ。」とのアドバイスでチョイス。
I chose this set because Yuki-chan said " Vests are very useful to control body temperature."
着せてみたらこんな感じになりました。
I tried these on her.
まだちょっとブカブカしてます。
でも、パンツはジャストサイズ。
ママに似て太ももはプリンプリンです。
The vest looks loose, but the pants fit perfect.
She has plump thighs like her Mama.
これはパジャマとして。
These are her pajamas.
寝ている時に布団をすぐに蹴ってしまうアヒルちゃんの風邪予防対策として足の先まで包まっているものを購入。
Little duck keeps kicking her blanket off while she is sleeping. I chose these clothes with enclosed toes to keep her body warm.
