我が家のBaby、6月８日で無事２歳を迎えましたーー！！おめでとう！
Our Baby turned 2 on 8 June! Congratulations!!

思えば、2年前の８日はすごい日だったなぁと振り返りつつ（Another early delivery 1 －またまた早かった出産劇 1－から続く）、半休をとって家族でお祝いをした訳であります。もう２歳なんだから”Baby”はおかしいよね、ということで、本日よりBaby改めBoy２と呼ぶこととします。何とも安直。。。
As you can imagine, I remember that day two years ago quite vividly... (I wrote several stories following the first story Another early delivery 1 －またまた早かった出産劇 1－). For this second birthday, we took a half day off and had a small celebration in the afternoon. At his current age, "Baby" sounds a bit strange, right? So I will call him "Boy2" from now on. Extremely simple...
朝は保育所でお祝いをしてもらったBoy2。可愛いかぶり物も作っていただきました。保育所のその赤ちゃんグループもその日で卒業。次の週からは幼児グループへ。（今の所、毎日大泣き・・・）
In the morning, Boy2 had had a birthday celebration with his day care group. They made a nice birthday hat for him. As of that day, he graduated from the baby group. He moved to the toddler group the next week. (So far, he cries terribly every time we drop him off...)
二人目ということで何かと適当になるBoy２へのお祝い。２歳くらいはきちんとお祝いをしてあげようと、毎日バタバタの中、プレゼントも数点用意いたしました。Boy１には用意してきた手作りケーキは時間の都合上断念。。（Boy２すまぬ・・・）
I wanted him to have nice time. Usually, since Boy2 is our second child, celebrations tend to be a bit less elaborate compared with Boy1's celebrations at the same age. We were both totally overloaded with work and other things, but we managed to prepare several presents for him. I prepared a hand-made cake for Boy1's second birthday, but I needed to give that up for Boy2... (sorry...)
Boy1と違って、よくおもちゃで遊ぶBoy２。特に乗り物が大好き。おもちゃで溢れかえる我が家なのですが、新しいものをまたあげてしまった・・・。
はるばる日本からやって来たでっかくて音のなるパトカー。
Boy2 likes to play with toys, quite unlike his big brother. He especially likes transportation (cars, trains). We are suffering with too many toys at home but again we increased our collection....
A big police car, which makes many different sounds, came all the way from Japan.
電車セット。電車が音を鳴らしながら自動でも走ります。
Train set. This also makes sound and can run automatically.
Boy２、２歳になったその日からイヤイヤ期を爆進中。気に入らないことがあるとすぐに”キーッッ”と怒ります。Boy1（もしくは私）がすること、食べるもの全てが欲しい、真似したい。
Boy2 also commenced his "terrible twos" exactly from his birthday. When he doesn't like something, he gets angry screaming "ki-----!!". He wants everything Boy1 (or I) has or eats, which is getting quite tiresome. He wants to imitate us, which usually involves grabbing toys, food and other stuff out of our hands.

There are not only bad things about having a 2-year old. There are also interesting and cute aspects. I can illustrate this with two movies.

熱いものを食べるときは口の中で「ハフハフ」するんだよ。と教えたときのBoy2。ちなみに食べているものはマクドのポテト・・・。
