倭ーYAMATO 和太鼓集団、知ってますか？日本の奈良出身の和太鼓パフォーマンスグループです。偶然にも彼らが世界ツアーをしていること、しかも驚くことに私の住む小さな町、Heerenveenに来ることを知ったのが何年前だったか。最初に彼らのパフォーマンスを見に行ったのは確か4年前でした。めちゃめちゃ面白い！次にHeerenveenに来るときのチケットも早速買いました。それが約2年前。その時は残念ながら日本行きと被ってしまって、行けなかったんですよね。そのリベンジも兼ねて、先週土曜日にまた行くことができました！今年またHeerenveenに来てくれたのです！
Do you know Yamato, the drummers of Japan? It is a Japanese drum theatre group from Nara. I happened to know that they are doing world tour and, surprisingly, visiting our small town, Heerenveen! The first time we went to see the performance was about 4 years ago. It was so much fun! We immediately bought tickets to the next performance at Heerenveen, that was about two years ago. Back then, we couldn't go due to our trip to Japan, but finally we could go again on last Saturday! They came to Heerenveen again this year!
面白いことにこの倭ーYAMATO、他のヨーロッパの国では一箇所かに箇所にとどまって長期間パフォーマンスをするのですが、オランダでは1日づつ移動していろんな街でパフォーマンスをしてくれるのです。おそらくオランダの真ん中の街に滞在して、毎日あちこちの小さな街に日帰りで通ってきてくれているかなと思うのですが、これも小国オランダならではなのかも。でも私達にはものすごくラッキー。Heerenveenのシアターはうちからも自転車で行ける距離にあります（歩いてでも行けます）。
It is interesting that Yamato goes really everywhere in the Netherlands, while on other parts of Europe they stay in one theater and perform lfor a ong time. I guess that they are staying somewhere in the middle of the Netherlands and travel up and down everyday to the small towns in the Netherlands. It is only possible because the Netherlands is a small country. But we get benefit from that. The theater in Heerenveen is cycling distance for us (even walking is possible).
今年のパフォーマンスも最高でした。関西は奈良出身からなのか、ジョークなども関西人の私には超面白い！何よりすごいなーと思うのは2時間超のパフォーマンスを大きな和太鼓を叩き続けるスタミナ。。敬服です。私にもその体力を少し分けてもらいたいもので。。
The performance was again super fun! Because of the Nara culture (maybe), the jokes are really fitting to me and I really respect their physical stamina Over 2 hours of performance, continueously hitting the big drums.... amazing. I want to get a bit of their condition....
