驚くべき３日連続投稿。
Amazingly enough, 3 days of continuous posting!
この凍りつく寒さでスケート熱に火がついたBoy（したことない）とanko（最後にスケートしたのは、２５年以上前？）。スケートがしたいー！！でもスケート靴持ってないし。。ということで、早速、靴のレンタルができるインドアのスケート場へ行ってまいりました。ここ、Thialfは世界大会でも使われる有名なところ、実は我らが住む町にあります。日本の有名スケーターさん達もここでトレーニングしているみたいですよ。車で10分足らず。
Boy, who has never skated, but is a passionate lover of cold weather, and Anko, who last skated more than 25 years ago, wanted to go skating. But we don't even have skates. So... we decided to go to the indoor skate rink, where we can also rent skates. This rink, Thialf, is an extremely famous one, which is often used for world chiampionships and such competitions. Actually, it is in the town where we live. It seems famous Japanese skaters also prefer to train here. Less than 10 minutes from our house.

朝オープンと同時に到着。みんなに一足ずつ靴（Babyにもね
）をレンタルして。いざリンクへ。
We arrived at the same time the skate rink opened. We rented skates for everybody (even for Baby) and hurried to the rink.

この方のは刃が4本。靴に取り付けるタイプです。履いていたのは本当に一瞬でした・・・。
Baby's ones have four irons. You can attach them to your own shoes. He wore these only very very briefly...
さて、みんな滑れたのでしょうか！？

Dropさんは本人曰く、子供の頃、結構上手だったらしい。Ankoと同様20年以上振り。
Drop claimed he used to be good at skating when he was young. He hasn't skated more than 20 years, just like me...

This out-of-focus picture adequately captures his speed. Cool on the picture?! I admit he was quite good.
anko。スポーツはなんでも大好き。子供の頃、スケートは大好きでした。
Anko, who loves almost all sports and really liked skating when she was a child.
1人で滑っている写真は残念ながらないのですが、Boyと一緒の動画がありました。この動画を見る限り、そんなに変ではない？実はこのながーい刃のスケート靴は初めてだったので（子供の頃履いたことあるのは前の部分が短くてギザギザしたもの、Dropさん曰く、アイスダンス用らしい）ちょっと慣れるまでに時間がかかりましたが、めちゃめちゃ楽しかったー！
No picture of me skating alone is available, but in this movie Anko skates together with Boy. When I looked at this movie, I don't look that strange. It was the first time for me to wear these long skates. The only ones I had ever tried were very short and had jagged iron at the front (I have since been told that those are for ice dancing). It took some time to get used to the long ones, but it was great fun!

補助なしで滑れるまでにはなりませんでしたが、2時間ひたすら頑張りました。1人で長いコースも回ってきたよ。頑張ったねー！
He couldn't actally skate without support, but he tried fanatically for 2 hours! He skated alone on the long track too. Well done!
Baby．
こんな素敵な乗り物が！Dropさんに押してもらってトラックを結構なスピードで何周か回りました。一回顔面から落ちて口から流血の事故もありましたが、楽しかったみたい。
They have these attractive push sleds for small children. Baby went around the track several times, on it, with quite high speed pushed by Drop. Once he fell and blood came out from his mouth... but other than that, he enjoyed it.
恐らくこれが今シーズン最初で最後のスケートにはなるとは思いますが、私の感想ではものすごい楽しかった。来年はもっとシーズン初めから行ってみようかな。そして来シーズンは自然の氷デビューだ！
I assume this was the first time and the last time for us to skate in this season. I loved it a lot. We can try to start skating early in the next season. And then, finally, we will make our debut skating on natural ice!
