ある日、アーニャはいつもの道を歩いていた。前の日に降った雨のおかげなのか、歩道の植え込みでは紫陽花が咲いている。ピンクや青い花が鮮やかに映る。絵になる光景ではあるが、先を急いでいるので紫陽花歩道を過ぎて目的の場所へ行った。用事を済ませたアーニャは別の道を通って帰宅した。
家に帰ったアーニャはティータイムを取った。日が暮れると晩ごはん食べて寝た。
食用ではないが、リトマス紙とは反対の反応色を示す花に土壌の酸性度測定器として見直すアーニャであった。
One day, Anya was walking along her usual route. Perhaps thanks to the rain that had fallen the day before, hydrangeas were blooming in the flowerbeds along the sidewalk. The pink and blue flowers stood out in vivid color. It was a picturesque sight, but she was in a hurry so she passed the hydrangea trail and went to her destination. Having finished her errands, Anya took a different route home.
When she got home, Anya had tea. As the sun went down, she had dinner and went to bed.
Although they are not edible, Anya saw the flowers, which reacted with the opposite color to litmus paper, as a way to measure the acidity of the soil.
Un jour, Anya suivait son chemin habituel. Peut-être à cause de la pluie tombée la veille, des hortensias fleurissaient dans les buissons le long du trottoir. Les fleurs roses et bleues sont vives. Même si c'était un spectacle pittoresque, j'étais pressé alors j'ai passé le trottoir des hortensias pour arriver à ma destination. Après avoir terminé ses courses, Anya est rentrée chez elle par un itinéraire différent.
Anya est rentrée chez elle et a pris l'heure du thé. Quand le soleil s'est couché, j'ai dîné et je me suis couché.
Bien qu'elle ne soit pas comestible, Anya reconsidère la fleur, qui présente la couleur de réaction opposée au papier de tournesol, comme un indicateur d'acidité du sol.
