坂上田村麻呂から京都の火の神様そして、～福泉寺～
Sakanoueno Tamura Maro to God of Fire in Kyoto and ～Fukusenji Temple～
天気は悪かった。曇りと雨が交互に現れ、道を濡らし、強い風が参道に枯れ葉を散らしていた。
遠野市の福泉寺に向かってみた。
道中立ち寄った神社が数か所。最初に参拝した熊野神社は、雰囲気が白山神社に似ていた。
それから、大迫市内で愛宕神社に参拝。実は、また鳥居の文字が読めなくて、境内で作業されている方に聞いてみた。すると、彼は京都から分けていただいた火の神様だとおっしゃったのだ。
もう一か所、愛宕神社。湯殿山と関係がありそうだった。
お昼は、道の駅の駐車場で11時頃。そこで、でかい茹で卵を買って一個食べた。
途中、雨が激しくなったので遠野の道の駅風の丘に寄って、少し休憩。
たいやきを食べた。
福泉寺に着いたのは12時半頃。真言宗豊山派の寺だったことは、帰宅してネットで調べて初めて分かった。しかし、確かに真言の梵字を見た覚えがある。
福泉寺の参道の手前の駐車場に停めて、傘を差してゆっくり歩いて行った。車で行ける道の方ではなく、参道の端をすぐに右に折れて屋根の掛かっている道を進んでみると、途中で五重塔へ向かう道が示されていた。そこで、そちらに向かってみると、小さな祠がたくさんある林道のようなところに出て、諸国漫遊というのか、各地の有名な観音様等のお地蔵さん風なものがぐるりと山の道になっている。
実は、この観音様像を巡る道は以前半分歩いたことがあった。しかし、そのときは時間の関係で全部まわれなくてちょっと心残りであった。しかも、あのときは知らずに歩いたので、反対側から遡ってしまった感じだったが、今回はしっかり1から始められたようだった。
ひとつひとつの像に立ち止まって手を合わせながら、静かに進み、途中で五重塔を撮影しに寄って、また道に戻った。そして、最後三十三観音を巡り終えると、白衣観音が迎えてくれる、という感動を味わった。
本堂の中は撮影禁止。本堂の大観音像の像名は福徳観音像、総高17m、木彫として日本最大の観音像。 樹齢1200年の大木の一木造である。20年の歳月を費やして住職自らが刻んだという。
中をお参りしてから外観のみを撮影。
The weather was bad. Cloudy and rain appeared alternately, wetting the road, and strong winds scattered dead leaves on the approach.
I went to Fukusenji Temple in Tono City.
There are several shrines on the way. At first Kumano Shrine visited, the atmosphere was similar to Hakusan Shrine.
Then, we visit Atago Shrine in the city of Ohasama. Actually, I couldn't read the characters of Torii again, so I asked a person working on the grounds. Then he said that this shrine was the god of fire that he had split from Kyoto.
Another place is Atago Shrine. This seemed to be related to Mt. Yudono.
Lunch is around 11:00 in the parking lot of the roadside station. So I bought a big boiled egg and ate one.
On the way, the rain became intense. So I had a rest at roadside station named kazenooka.
I ate a taiyaki.
I arrived at Fukusenji Temple around 12:30. It wasn't until I returned home that I found out that it was a temple of the Toyoyama school of the Shingon sect. However, I certainly remember seeing the true Sanskrit.
I parked in the parking lot just before the temple approach, walked slowly with an umbrella. Instead of a road that can be reached by car, turn right at the end of the approach and proceed along the covered road, and you will see the way to the pagoda. So, when I turned to that path, I came out to a place like a forest road with many small shrines, and it seems to be a country tour, or a famous Jizo-like thing such as a famous Kannon in each place becomes a mountain road.
Actually, I had walked half the way around this statue of Kannon before. However, at that time, it was a bit regrettable because I couldn't get it all because of time. Moreover, at that time, I walked without knowing it, so I felt like I had gone back from the other side, but this time it seemed that I could start from 1 firmly.
I stopped at each statue and folded my hands in prayer, walking quietly, stopping on the way to shoot the five-storied pagoda and returning to the road. Finally, after finishing the tour of the 33rd Kannon, I was impressed that the white coat Kannon welcomed me.
No photography is allowed inside the main hall. The statue of the Great Kannon statue in the main hall is Fukutoku Kannon statue, total height 17m, the largest statue of Kannon in Japan. It is a large wooden tree of 1200 years old. It is said that the priest himself carved it after spending 20 years.
After visiting the main hall, I took a picture of only the exterior.
