今回はラボから直接教室に向かったので教科書はなし。先生も初めての先生でした。
以前のレッスン履歴をみたその先生、hyperbole and halfをやってるのね。私が一番好きな話があるからそれやらない？とのこと。
というわけで本日は、
Dogというストーリーです。

いきなりretardedの発音でつまずきます（retarded: slow/stupid）。
意味がわからない単語は、当然うまく発音できません。
以下、チェックされた項目。
ineptitude, kennel, canine
tenderly=gently with extra care, outlandish=exaggerated,
"I want it so badly. = really want it.
to short-circuit = to stop working (brain/electronic)
flagrantly = obviously ( "a flagrant violation")
frantically in a wildly excite manner/ desperately " I was frantic"
legitimate = valid/reasonable
quiver = shake
epiphany= discovery, to realize a truth
licking
give the benefit of the doubt = believe something good of somebody even if not sure.
tally = way to keep score
in and of itself = considered alone
雑談が今回は20分、レッスンが40分でした。
発音は日本人生徒の中では相対的にpoorではない。というお世辞をいただいて終了。
ですが私の英語は正直退化しています。
