家族旅行の帰り、車の中で水曜どうでしょうを久しぶりに見た。水曜どうでしょうは北海道ローカルで３０年ほど前に放送されていた番組で、大泉洋さんが世に出るきっかけとなった。かなり初期の頃に放送された闘痔の旅は大泉さんがサイコロの旅で痔であると発言したことをきっかけに温泉で痔を治すべくいろいろな温泉に入るという企画だった。
最初の温泉であるニセコ町の薬師温泉を検索してみるとすでに廃業していた。ちょうど家族旅行でニセコ町に行っていたこともあり、もし今度来る機会があったら行ってみようと思っていたけれど、残念ながらもう見ることはできなさそう。
その後に行った二股ラジウム温泉はリニューアルしてやっているようなので、いつか行ってみたい。
On our way back from a family trip, I watched "How do you like Wednesday?" in the car for the first time in a long time. "How do you like Wednesday?" was a program that aired in Hokkaido about 30 years ago, and it was the start of Dai-suke Oizumi's success.
One of the earliest episodes, "The Journey of Hemorrhoids," started when Oizumi said he had hemorrhoids during a dice
game trip. So, the concept was for him to visit various hot springs in the hopes of curing his hemorrhoids.
When I looked up the first hot spring, Yakushi Onsen in Niseko Town, I found out that it was already closed. Since we
were in Niseko Town during our family trip, I had thought about visiting if we ever came back. Unfortunately, it seems
like I won't be able to see it now.
The next hot spring, Futamata Radium Onsen, seems to have been renovated and I would like to visit it someday.
