エコと生活力を向上に向けたブログ博物館を試作中

EPDC is a power utility company in Japan. Now its name becomes famous through TV commercial activity as J-POWER.

In 1988, EPDC held a seminar at Södertälje in Stockholm. The backgroud in Sweden, acid rain attacked lakes and woods, and changed the environment into serious condition.

They wished to remove acid materials such as SOx and NOx emiting from steam power generations.  At the time, only power company was EPDC that had established  the

technology. Then from requests from Swedish power companies, EPDC held a seminar to show the high reliability for Japanese developed technology.

This action promoted to sell the power plants into Europe area. Today I found the precedings in my old book case. Those artiticles were quite historical how Japan conributed

 to protecting  European environments.

No one knew it. but  this blog showed off little facts of Japanese contribution.
