「七つの海」株式会社七海インターナショナルが日本を紹介します！↓参加中♪↓ポチッと応援をお願いします。にほんブログ村デジタルのチカラを通して古くて新しい日本情報を案内する株式会社七海インターナショナルの土肥原くに子です。本日も当ブログにアクセスしていただきまして誠にありがとうございます。今回の話題は、日本紹介動画8 消防博物館から学ぶ1 江戸時代の火災時の風呂敷利用法｜Japan Introduction Video 8 Learning from the Fire Museum 1 How to Use Furoshiki during Fires in the Edo Period.です。東京都新宿区にある消防博物館に、江戸時代の江戸東京の風呂敷利用法をフィギアで再現している展示がありました。江戸時代の江戸（今の東京）は多く火災が発生しました。これには建物の素材と街の構造に関係があります。家屋の素材は木と紙と草からできていました。街の構造は建物が密集し「長屋」が多かったこと等が挙げられます。江戸の火消し（消防団）の「い組」が火災現場へ向かっています。フィギアから緊迫した様子が伝わってきます。タイヤ付きのタンスです。タイヤがあるので押して運べます。しかし、江戸時代に起きた火災時には、大八車やタイヤの付いたタンスで家財道具を持ち出しすることが禁止されました。その理由は通行の妨げとなり、火災の二次被害として多くの死傷者を出すということからです。火災などの緊急時に便利なのは風呂敷です。風呂敷に荷物を包んで背負って避難することができます。日本のマンガやアニメに登場する風呂敷を背負ったドロボーのようなスタイルで避難しました。風呂敷は何でも包んで持ち運べます。風呂敷のむずび方を知っていれば急いで包んで結ぶことができます。消防博物館のパネルです。話は変わって貴重な資料のご紹介前にもでてきましたが江戸東京は多くの火災が発生しました。当時の消火活動は破壊消火でした。一方では火災に備えて水を汲んでおきました。江戸時代の「武家火事装束」の紹介です。武士の火事装束（男性）です。武士の奥さんの「火事装束」（女性）です。これは纏（まとい）と言います。江戸東京には48（合計64）の町の消防団があり各消防団にオリジナルの纏がありました。纏を高く掲げて火元や風向きを知らせ、消防団員の士気を高める大切な役割がありました。風呂敷を通して日本の歴史、江戸時代の江戸（東京）の暮らしの理解が深まりますことを願っています。＜English＞Hello everyone! You can wrap your belongings in a furoshiki and carry them on your back for evacuation.We took refuge in the style of a dorobo carrying a furoshiki (wrapping cloth) on his back, as seen in Japanese manga and anime. With a furoshiki on your back, you can use both hands. The furoshiki is a really useful tool.Furoshiki can be used to wrap and carry anything.If you know how to tie a furoshiki, you can wrap and tie it in a hurry.As a change of subject, I would like to introduce you to a valuable resource.As I have told you before, Edo Tokyo experienced many fires. Firefighting at that time was destructive firefighting.On the other hand, water was kept pumped in case of fire.Samurai fire costume (male).This is a "fire costume" (female) of a samurai's wife.These are called "Matoi" and there are 48 of them.There were 48 firefighting teams in Edo Tokyo (64 in total), and each team had its own original matoi.The matoi are raised high to indicate the origin of the fire and the direction of the wind.
