今回の話題は、日本紹介動画 日本の仏教行事 4月8日はお釈迦様の誕生日 灌仏会「花まつり」についてです。
日本の仏教行事4月8日はお釈迦様の誕生日とされていて、日本各地の寺では灌仏会（かんぶつえ）「花まつり」の仏教行事が行われました。
灌仏会（かんぶつえ）「花まつり」では「甘茶」を仏像に注ぎかけて参拝します。「花まつり」の名前通りお堂の中や外にはたくさんの花を飾ります。
その他に「稚児行列（ちごぎょうれつ）なども行われます。稚児行列とは、子供の無病息災や健やかな成長を願って特別な着物を着て、化粧をした子供たちが街中を歩く日本の伝統行事です。

This is Nihon-Ai, which introduces Japanese events in video clips.
This time, the Japanese Buddhist event April 8 was considered Buddha's birthday, and Buddhist events called KANBUTSUE (also known as Hana-Matsuri) were held at temples throughout Japan.
At the Kanbutsu-e "Flower Festival," visitors pour "sweet tea" over Buddhist statues before worshipping.
As the name "Hana Matsuri" implies, the temple is decorated with many flowers inside and outside.
Other events include the "Children's Procession (Chigo-gyoretsu).”
Children's procession is a traditional Japanese event in which children wear special kimonos and makeup and walk through the streets to wish children good health and sound growth.
