Wow, there is snow on the ground and it is really cold!
Anyways, we accomplished a few things today.
We finished fixing the sagging floor and tidied up the cafe a bit more.
As for the sinking floor, first, we removed an outer metal sheathing and jacked up a beam that had become loose.
Then we cut a 10cmX10cm column or "leg" piece about 150mm high.
We installed it and then placed a second leg a few feet to the left...
This second leg caused the first leg to float, so we had to correct this by cutting another leg to the correct size.

After we were done, we tried to replace the metal cover, but found that it had to be resized as it no longer fit.
