抜けるような青空の日曜日、久し振りに気温も上がって穏やかな休日になりました。
本当だったら今日は2005年に104歳で大往生した母方のばあちゃんの七周忌の法要の予定でしたが、震災の影響によって残念ながら中止となってしまいました。
満州国官吏の妻だったばあちゃんは太平洋戦争の終戦によりソ連軍が侵入したため、女手一つで乳飲み子と幼児を含む７人の子供を連れて命からがらに日本に死ぬ思いで帰り着いたそうです。
満州からの引き上げで良く語られる悲惨な話は多かれ少なかれ体験したと母から聞いています。
一方でじいちゃんは終戦後シベリアに抑留されましたが、病のため終戦から11年後の1956年に帰国して入院、そのまま1958年に亡くなってしまいました。
（僕が生まれたのが1957年なので残念ながらじいちゃんの記憶は全くありません）
明治、大正、昭和、平成、波瀾万丈の人生を歩んだばあちゃんの冥福を改めてお祈りしたいと思います。
今日は震災以来ずっと営業を停止していたスポーツ・ジムが、この週末から営業を再開したので久し振りに行って来ました。
体を動かしてみてわかったのですが、この2週間の緊張のせいなのか体中の筋肉がガチガチに固まっていました。
ストレッチ、ランニング、ウエイト・トレーニング、風呂にゆっくり入った事もあって、多少なりとも体と心の緊張はほぐれたような気がします。
特に風呂は久し振りにたっぷりのお湯の中でゆっくり出来たのがありがたかったです。
今日の青空を見ていたらこんな曲を思い出しました。
ハワイのバンド、カラパナが1975年にリリースした1stアルバム「Kalapana」からホール＆オーツのカヴァーでWhen The Morning Comesです。
いろいろあるけど次の朝になればきっとなんとかなるさ、そんな事を歌った曲です。
