I'm going to be recording a few songs from Sunday at my friend's studio!!
あとちょっとで日本に帰るから、何曲撮れるか分からないけど５曲を目指して頑張るよ！
I'll be going back to Japan soon, so I'm not sure how many we'll get done, but I'm aiming for 5 songs.

だから今週はちょこちょこっと時間がある時にプリプロしてるんだ。
So this week I've just been tapping in to some pre-production when I have the time.
楽器無しに頭の中だけで曲のアレンジを組み立てて行くのはちょっと難しいけど、同時に超わくわくしてくるんだ。
It's a little difficult coming up with the production arrangement only in your head with no instruments around, but it's so exciting all at the same time.
自分にしか聴こえない音の世界を、実際に録ってみんなにも聴いてもらえるんだからね。
The fact that you get to share the music that only you can hear in your own head with everyone else eventually.

限られた時間と機材の中で、どれだけ上手く行くかは分からないけど、情熱だけは欠けないように作ってくよ！！
I'm so looking forward to it!! I don't know how good the songs will turn out due to the limited time and resources, but I'll make sure that it doesn't lack any passion!

ちなみにね
プリプロってのは英語で言うプリプロダクションを省略した言い方なんだ。スタジオに入ってレコーディングする前に、どんな風に曲をアレンジするか計画を立てる作業の事を言うんだ。
Pre-production is all about deciding what kind of music will surround the song.
「ここからはキーボードをこうやって入れて、ここからはドラムがこんな感じで～」っとかいろいろね。
For example "The keyboard will come in from here, and the drums from here like this" etc etc....
