Dear friends.

We (Japanese activists) warn people of other countries
about polluted canned food in radioactivity
with deeply apology.
I introduce the sentence that my friend made.
Please spread this matter with a lot of people.

PROBLEMS OF CANNED FOOD GIVEN FROM JAPAN TO FAMINE-STRICKEN COUNTRIES

Japanese government has recently passed the bill to send canned food,
free of charge, to some developing countries, perhaps in Africa or
elsewhere, - canned food made from radiation-contaminated ingredients
from Fukushima or nearby areas, mainly of fish like skipper and
mackerel.

http://www.majiroxnews.com/2011/09/19/japan-to-use-disaster-area-food-for-overseas-aid/

Naturally those fish are pretty radioactive, considering the
astronomically high amounts of radiation released in the Pacific.
Some citizens have done a petition campaign against this move, but in
vain, and the bill was passed.

If you know some African (or any developing countries) people, please
let them know about this.
This can hardly be called a humanitarian aid, as it is out of
government's intention only to soothe local industries in the damaged
areas in Japan by buying up foods which awakened citizens here avoid
buying.
Additionally, it must be intended to null the normal sense of the
general public here and beyond, regarding low-level dose radiation.
No matter how much food is needed over there in some famine-stricken
countries, it is bad and shameful for Japanese government and our
industries to give away such kind of contaminated food, especially
without their knowledge about it, which will surely result in serious
damage to human gene in future generations.
We're afraid there may be no domestic monitoring system of such canned
food for free delivery overseas.

Our current 'safety' limit of radiation in food is this:
(I-131)
drinking water, milk and dairy products : 300 Bq/Kg
(below 100 Bq/kg for a baby)
vegetables, seafoods : 2000 Bq/Kg

(Cesium)
drinking water, milk and dairy products : 200 Bq/Kg
vegetables, crops, meat, egg, fish, others : 500 Bq/ Kg

Hanfelt, commander of the veterinary command, said her personnel are
working to approve more foods for consumption on U.S. bases."

This below website has an amazing revelation.

A table (table-5) in the PDF uploaded in the fukushima-diary.com shows
an estimate by some private institutions (as for Unit1, the note says it
is by the sensor analysis) delegated by TEPCO, regarding the presumed
radiation amounts of various isotopes released from Fukushima Daiichi
into the air.

The isotopes in the table are:
Xe-133, Cs-134, Cs-137, Sr-89, Sr09-, Ba-140, Te-127, Te-129, Te-131,
Te-132, Ru-103, Ru-106, Zr-95, Ce-141, Ce-144, Np-239, Pr-238, Pu-239,
Pr-240, Pr-241, Y-91, Pr-143, Cm-242, I-131, I-132, I-133, I-135,
Sb-127, Sb-129, Mo-99

**copy-paste the table in the above website here**
We don't know at all what combination of fuel ingredients TEPCO was
burning in the Unit-1, as they try to completely hide it, even before
our House hearing.

Thank you.

Keep our information and our solidarity with local people.

Japan to use disaster area food for overseas aid

TOKYO — Japan will send canned foods from the areas affected by
the March 11 [Fukushima] disasters to developing countries as
official development assistance (ODA), the Foreign Ministry said.

Canned foods will be tested in advance for excess radiation and their
safety confirmed before they are sent, the ministry said.

The ministry has applied for a budget of about 5 billion yen ($65
million) to carry out its plan, which it hopes will promote produce
from the Tohoku region and also dispel rumors about Japanese food
safety.

Ministry officials said they have set up a project to give priority
to products made in the Tohoku Region. It is envisioning using canned
mackerel as food assistance or medical equipment such as endoscopes
or wheelchairs made in Tohoku.

The ministry hopes to receive funding for the project for the current
fiscal year.

This is the same Japanese government that has been telling the
residents in the Fukushima contamination zone that the levels of
radiation they are getting are within "safe" limits. This is
disgusting and evil and should be denounced.

M.S. from Japan, a Global Network board member, writes: If you
know some African people, please let them know about this. This can

intention only to soothe local industries in the damaged areas in
