昨日、いろいろなブログを拝見させて頂いていましたら、
となりの狸猫さんの

というブログ内で半夏生の事にふれられていました。
I have visited one blog and noticed a flower in season called
"hangesho" is introduced.
半夏生といえば、旅館では
季節の花 
この季節の花を
さりげなく飾る
という事を、接待さん達が行っています。
Room attendants of Arai Ryokan arrange flowers in season
as natural as possible.
千利休の教えにも
花は野にあるように
とあります。
今日は半夏生を飾ってみました。
As a teaching of Sen no Rikyu, the historical figure in
Japanese tea ceremony, says:
Arragen flowers as natural as possible, just like they
live in a field.
I have arranged hangesho to decorate a
alcove of the guest room.
Name of hangesho is originated in the name
of the season around this time of the year,
days after a rainy season.
