Since I hate to lose any kind of game, especially, mind sport kind of game, I began studying of shogi (Japanese chess). While I was in Japan for a summer vacation, I did whatever I could do to improve my skill for shogi. I went to the library and checked out some shogi books. Those books were about 四間飛車 and 詰将棋, I think. I have no idea how I can write or say those words in English. I also played shogi with my mom. She wasn't bad. She beat me sometime. I went to every single shogi event in my hometown. I could see many title holders' games right in front of me. It was amazing! The most surprising thing for me was there were two amateur guys who could beat a new professional player. I was impressed that how one guy who beat a professional player used 香車. By studying a lot of shogi, I could be a little better than before.
