シュメール語を見ていると、ときどき漢字との共通性が覗える。
「šu」（手）は、その典型的な例だ。引用した辞書の記述に拠り、
「šu-búr」～ 「šu-bar」～「šu-bad」～ 「ŠU.BAD」～ 「zapah」で、
これがシュメールの「MUL｣（アッカド名Zappu）に繋がる。ここで、（※「MUL」は「star」の意）
｢星」（star）は「人手」（海星）という点に注意せよ!! ｢須麻流｣は、
｢šu-búr」（open hand＝“海星”）を含意する。且つ、この言葉は、
｢šu-bal」（overturn）に掛かる。「人手に渡る」という表現に注意。（※「取って代わられる」こと）
