some stuff & things that comforts me
aside from clowns the main 2 things that comfort me are my little cross-stitch clown Daijoubu, I have had him since 2011 and he has helped me deal with so many things, rubing him just calms me down a lot and I always have him with me, I wear shorts under my dresses so I can always have him close by, even tho he is very old and most of his colors are gone I still love him & to me he can't be replace,
and the other main confort friend is Vlanders The Puca from Vlanders is a wonderful character from the books Mierna & the Circus of Mysteries & Mierna & the Keeper of Nightmares both by Bonnie Watson, I love that Vlanders is always kind & caring and he helps Mierna ( a human girl who is his friend ) deal with things that scare her but he dose it in a kind way & always reminds her that he is there for her, I also love that he is always so happy & smiling like a clown but fluffy, I did made a stuffie Vlanders coz I loved him so much, and stuffie Vlanders gose everywhere with me, he helps a lot with trying not to be so scared of some things and he comforts me when things are just too scary,
Devil May Cry games 1 to 4 ( we never speak of the "reboot" ) I got into these games as a kid and they became my great escape, a big selling point for child me was that there was no balloons at all, and you got to be this cool hero with a cool sword child me was hooked, I still love the games, tho DMC 4 is the main comfort game since the game is a bit slower then the others and has a lot more of a high fantasy feel,
The Lion King / The Lion Guard big selling point for child me was once again no balloons, and the amazing art, I also related to Kovu as a kid since I didn't really fit in anywhere, so it was nice to see a character like that who dose find a place where he belongs, Lion King 1 & 2 are still in my top 5 movies
Black Sails, ( CW this one is not a kids show & kids should not watch it ) this is the only like um full adult show? ( if that's a thing ) that I like, I do skip pass the "love" parts & very bloodly parts and the show subtitles for any parts with guns but even with having to skip pass that stuff this show is still comforting to me as it is all about pirates, for a bit I can just escape & watch pirate chaos, this show also has historical pirates in it as well as characters from the book Treasure Island, so this is a great show for pirate nerds like me, plus there is no halloween or masks or balloons or really any other nope, it's nice to have somethings that are free of that stuff, tho I will say look up info before watching as some of things in the show could be too much for some so always good to look things up first,
