upheaval【大変動】
AlthoughI decided and proclaim that I am going to write a diary, I have not achieved it - it's very me! lolThese days, I roughly study English, apart from it I spent my time to walk around by the Thames river or a park (sometimes with my lovely boyfriend, sometimes on my own) and read a book in a book shop (There are some chairs in there so easy to read). Then, I found a very interesting book, UPHEAVAL written by Jared Diamond. He is an American, and geographer, historian and author. He is well-known for his bestseller book called Guns, Germs, and Steel (1997). I just saw the cover drawing of the book,UPHEAVAL, in the featuring cornerin the book shop. It reminded me Japan and Katsushika Hokusai, (actually the drawing is not by him though )so magnetised me. It's all abouta crisis in different countries including Japan. It makes me so interested! I like to read and know about Japan written by non-Japanese people. This book introduces the issues happening in Japan, such as population, government debt, women, babies and so on. Very interesting!!!!!!! The topic is not that easy, but it's surprisingly easy to read and understand. I can acquire new knowledge from this book about Japan. I haven'tfinished reading it, so I'm going to go to the book shop again, and have a chair with the book. lol I can't wait for the next day off!
