DC Comics is celebrating its 75th Anniversary this year and to help commemorate the impressive milestone, Converse will lend a hand and produce a collection of Chuck Taylors featuring its iconic superheros and supervillains colored up in vintage comic-book style. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Penguin, the Joker, and others are featured in this throwback capsule that is scheduled for a Spring 2011 release. It’s a match made in heaven for the two age-old pop-culture establishments to partner up once again so take a look at the upcoming collection and let us know which pair you’d rock. via HS.
Earlier this year during the peak of the Spring season, Sneaker News showed you the Missoni x Converse Chuck Taylor High that featured a colorful quilted pattern on the upper. Here’s a Women Nike Air Max 2009 look at the Fall 2010 releases of the Missoni x Converse collab, and you’ll find a noticeable change in color – that is, there’s no color at all. Both featured intricate designs on the upper cheap nike free run 2 but black and white was the way to go for these two pairs. The inner nike free cheap sale lining also features a camel-brown tone with a similarly colored leather tongue as well as All-Star logo on the medial side. We’re accustomed to seeing the low-budget Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star in fabric/canvas uppers, but these classic joints do have a luxurious side. Check out the suede-uppered renditions of the classic Chuck Taylor, available in both a black and charcoal colorway; each pair features a tonal All-Star logo on the medial wall of the shoe as well as matching laces, but what remains the same is the unforgettable rubber outsole and the black stripe at the foundation of the shoe.
