On 8th December, the Alumni Event was held at St. Stephen's College. I gave a clarinet performance there. I play three famous Christmas Carols. 1. What Child is This (Greensleeves), 2. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, 3. It Came upon the Midnight Clear.
I brought my clarinet when I returned back to Delhi in late November at the request of the Principal Sir Varghese. On the day before, at the Founder's Day, I told him that my clarinet is now in my room, then he suddenly suggested to play on the next day. I was surprised but I answerd "yes". Because It would be a good chance to express my gratitude, my spirit of friendship, and my sympathy to Christianity.
In early November, we enjoyed the Cristmas Carols by Student Choir at College Chapel. I was moved by their performance and I cannot forget their pieces. It resonate my mind. On this day, I played three pieces to express my mind wholeheartedly in response wearing kurta, so without any scores nor any notes but with only listening copy ("mimi copy" in Japanese).
