窓辺に流れ込む緑の光を感じつつ、床を流れる風の中に寝そべって聴くとき、やや暗い空間がそうさせるのだ。　　止めどなく繰り出されるリリックで澄明な旋律に、ただただ感心する。　　気がつくと、うたた寝をしていた。　　半覚醒の脳で　”ANNETTE PEACOCK/ X-DREAMS/ SEECD-451 　体中の力を抜いて背筋をピンと伸ばし、片側の肩を少し前に出し直立し真っ直ぐ視線を投げる。　　無彩色の黒っぽい肩のなだらかでない“ジャケット”であったりすると、不貞の後の開き直りのような気迫が出てしまうので、ついじっと見上げてしまう。

差しで対峙したりもできる愉しみ方があるが、マイルスのそれは何時しか彼方から押し寄せる妖気に絡みつかれて、きっと身動きできなくなっているのだ。　　あまりにもシステムが精緻で揺るぎないため、シンプルに思える佳境の瞬間があるのだ。　　逆間接を捕まれ身悶えするような、羽ばたく昂揚がきっとある。　　本人が意図したわけではもちろんないが、研ぎ澄まされた冷ややかな静謐でさえあるサウンドから、正確にエモーションが照射され、蹂躙される。　
　

♯♭♪ (*^.^*) ： 　Anthony Braxton 1 2 3 / Creative Orchestra Music 1976 　♪ 　♪ 　♪* 　　A・ブラクストン初めてのフリーフォーム・オーケストラ作品、22名の演奏家、言わば表題音楽の対極の絶対音楽、現代音楽に近い、曲は幾何学的図示で表現されている。　　作曲・演奏で無調を貫き、従来の和声を退ける、そして言語によるテーマ性をも排除、サウンド自体の美、カタルシスの放射を目指す。　　過去の一切の様式・パターン・サウンドを断ち、創造の場をメロディ・水平領域に構え、常に新たな時間空間の彼方に向かって美を編んで行く。　　振り返ることや、繰り返しはしない、ゆっくりしたテンポでこそ、サウンド自体が発っする美、それを生み出すシステム構築・推進に渾身の知力を発揮せんとしている。　　サウンドは剥き出し・無垢の清潔感に溢れており、動機や主題に寄りかからず、提出もしない。　　さまざまな楽器のソノリティーの極限を卓抜に用い、サウンド自体・本質を剥き出しにする、時間軸に発表される時々刻々と点描される感興はとても美しく希有なもの。　　無用なテンションが無く澄明な静謐、叡智の無窮の遊びであろう。　コントラ・ベース・クラリネット、コントラ・ベース・サックス、ピコロ・トランペット、ベース・トロンボーン、ベース・マリンバ、オーケストラ・チャイム、ゴング、マーチング・シンバル、グロッケンシュピール、ベルズなど稀な楽器も使用。　　Cut one1（5:11）、躍動するD・エリントン風、B・ジョンストン（Bs）、C・ブリッジウォーター（Tp）、A・ブラックストン（As）のソロと集団的インプロヴィゼーションによるスリリングなドライブ感・躍動感が新鮮で聴き応え充分。　　Cut Two1（7:32）、静かなゆっくりしたフリー･フォーム風、A・ブラックストン（Cbcl）、R・ミッチェル（Ss）、J・ルイス（Tb）の3者がソロをとり、大理石を切り出すドラムの行いはハッとするほど美しい、余韻もまた。　　M・R・エイブラムス（P）も登場、R・タイテルバウム（Syn）が活躍する。　　Cut Three1（6:44）、パレード・ミュージック、J・ﾌｧディスの（Pcltp）の自由先鋭なフリー･フォーム・インプロヴィゼーション、さらにL・スミス（Tp）も参加、次第に熱気を帯びる。　　A・ブラックストン（Bcl）、J・ルイス（Tb）らが入り分厚いサウンドテクスチュアアーを編み上げる。　　マーチングスタイルで終わる。　　Cut one2（6:25）、K・ベルガー（Vib）のソロで現代音楽風アンサンブルで始まる。 　A・ブラックストン（Flt）、〃（Cbs）とR・ミッッチェル（Bs）が静かに点描的に呼応・反応しながら盛り上がる。　　さらに、J・ルイス（Tb）や、M・R・エイブラムス（P）、D・ホランド（Cell）が際だつ、2本の低音リードの生み出す感興が興味深い。　　Cut Two2（7:19）、D・エリントン風、ソロはK・ホイラー（Tp）、そしてM・R・エイブラムス（P）と、A・ブラックストン（Cbs）の呼応が聴き所。　　Cut Three2（6:41）、A・ブラックストン（Ss）と、R・ミッチェル（As）のソロ、呼応・反射・親和がすばらしい！。　　A. ♯♭♪ (*^.^*) ： 　Anthony Braxton 1 2 3 / Town Hall (1972) 　♪ 　♪ 　　1972年5月22日ニューヨーク、タウンホールでのライブ。　　A・ブラクストンは言う、『自己を明確に、やりたいものを創造した、他人の音楽とは決して似ていない。』。　　O・コールマンの作品、”Ornette Coleman 1 2 3 / Town Hall Concert 1962 　♪ ”を意識したタイトルなのか！？。　　J・リー（Vo）は、伴奏者を退けた己を固有のヴォイスと化しておる。　　舌音や喉音、呻き、唸り、叫び、悲鳴などあらゆる可能性を極限まで駆使する。　　P・ウィルソン（Ds）は、時に寡黙に見えます、ゴロゴロ！、ドタン！ドタン！、ガシャーン！、これらの優しい打ち下ろし・弾劾は、しなやか・フレキシブルな殆ど踊るような身のこなしから打ち出されるから、いっそう感動を呼びます。　　パーカッション風に魂の打ち震える歓喜・絶頂を、踊るように・飛翔体となって奏でます。　　その静謐・色彩・戦ぎにはインテリゼンスが隠しおうませず、とても甘美が空間が拡がります。　　Compsition 1（打楽器奏者J・クーパーのために）（18:21）、リヴォリューショナリー・アンサンブルのドラマーJ・クーパーに捧げられた曲。　　D・ホランド（B）の語りかけに呼応するA・ブラクストン（As）のフレキシブルなフリー･フォームブローイングで始まる。　　D・ホランド（B）は、叙情たるものや澄明たるもの、熱き衝動、四肢の発起など一切を駆使、リード奏者に迫りより・はねつけ・思わせ振り・反射・うそぶき呼応する。　　P・ウィルソン（Ds）は、大理石を矢継ぎ早に切り出し瞬く間に宮殿を設え始める。　　殆ど舞い飛翔・滑空するような身のこなしから、軽やかに打ち出されるから、いっそう感動を呼びます。　　A・ブラクストン（As）は、無調、フレキシブルなさまざまな奏法を繰り出し上質のソノリティーを発揮、しなやかな艶めかしくさえあるリードの響きをブローイング。　　瑞々しい精気に満ち、真摯な鋭気はヒューマンな優しさが滲み出ておる。　　Composition 2（ピアニスト、F・ジェフスキーのために）（14:33）、アメリカの現代音楽の作曲家、F・ジェフスキーに捧げられた曲。　　とても美しい静謐から開始される、幽玄の世界に叡智が射し発露を見だし、そわそわ・いそいそした気配からメロディーが形を表す有様は、驚くほど新鮮であり、深い感興を分泌する。　　A・ブラクストンの音色はとても優しく澄明であり、肩の力が抜けており、さらにヒューマンですらある。　　All the Things You Are、（ヴォーカリストJ・リーのために）（35:37）、A・ブラクストン（As）の猛烈なフリー･フォームブローイングはとてもしなやかで心地良い。　　J・リー（Vo）と呼応するフルートは、まさに天上的な歩みを想わせる。　　鐘！？が鳴り響き、野鳥！？が囁く深い森は、とても明るい澄明に覆われている。　　静謐な空間での行われるのは、インテリゼンスな歓喜の饗宴であり、さまざまな打楽器の音色、色彩は絶妙である。　　Composition ３、前曲から切れ目無く演奏される。　　J・リー（Vo）が諦観と希望の混沌とした優しい表情で、A・ブラッグストンの詩を発表。　　『……やゃっ、やや……』　圧倒的なヴォーカルに瞠目する、リードのアンサンブルが呼応し、やっと収まる。　　目眩くリードの囀りは、エキゾチックな空間を持ち込み、さらにP・ウィルソン（Ds）の大理石の宮殿構築の行いに皆が加勢する。　　A.
