先日にひきつづき、ジャパンタイムズ&ロゴポート編(2016)「英作文問題完全制覇」ジャパンタイムズ出版を参考に要点をまとめる。

解答時間は２５分(メモの作成に５分、筆記に１８分、見直し２分)。
構成は、導入(５０字)、本論１(５０字)、２(５０字)、３(５０字)、結論(１文でまとめてよい)の５段落構成。
※段落のはじめは字下げする(字下げ幅は半角５文字)。

「英作文完全制覇」に「関税は撤廃されるべきか」というお題に対するモデル文があった。実質的に同じ内容であると考えられる。筆写して、２００字を書くだけの時間を計測した。
その結果、１５分かかった。つまり、構想で５分費やしたあとは、迷いもなくストレートに導入から結論まで書ききらないと時間が足りなくなるということである。速く書けるように腕に筋力をつける必要がある。

Do the benefits of free trade outweigh the disadvantages？
I agree that the benefits of free trade outweigh the disadvantage. I have three reasons to support m argument.
First, free trade allows us to get products in more efficient and economical ways because we can import them from the countries which provide them at a competitive price. For example, we have been importing semiconductors nowadays while we add values to the final products.
Second, free trade enhances the international cooperation. Developing countries are involved in the system and make money taking advantage of their lower labor cost. It will give them indispensable positions in the world and not let them behind.
Finally, the cooperation can be used as economic sanctions and solve international conflicts. We don’t need to resort the army in that case.
These are the reason why I agree the benefits of free trade outweigh the disadvantages. Globalization is inevitable and we had better come up with the idea how we can make use it (１５８字).
立ち位置はアファーマティブで、リーズン１で、コストの低減、リーズン２で国際協調の伸長、リーズン３で紛争解決の手段、という論点を挙げたした。最後のリーズン３など、苦肉の策である。そして、長さが足りない。あと１００字必要、リーズン２と３に倍の文字が必要である。サポートが足りない。改善を要す。

I am in favor of free trade as they are beneficial to people all over the world. Free trade is a way to provide high quality products at low prices, to advance international cooperation, and to resolve international conflicts.（３９字）
→本のサンプルから、３リーズンをひらたく単語にしてならべれば語数が増えることを学んだ。
First, free trade allows us to be competitive in the international market because companies are more willing to produce them at a lower price. For example, Japan have been importing semi conductors from the other countries, where the personnel expenses are lower, leading to secure more margin to get benefit by adding values on the final products.（５７字）
→時間をかければ表現は思いつくものである。この書き直しだけで２０分。苦労したのは redundunt にならないようにするところ。
Second, free trade can be a tool to design the international relationship in the global economy. It contributes to maintain a balance in the world and drives us to consider how to achieve well-being together. The current shortage of semi conductors indicates that developing countries already play a crucial roles in industry so that we need to ensure their administration running in a healthy way.
