From on high, an angel—or perhaps a celestial maiden—was casting a rainbow-colored light. Enveloped in dazzling light, she descended toward the crater of Mount Fuji while spinning quietly. I watched her from far above in the sky, and also from deep within the earth. Eventually, something like mist or rain enveloped the world, and all boundaries began to fade.
However, what had appeared to be darkness gradually transformed into a rainbow-colored glow, and a sphere of light appeared at the center of the Pacific Ocean. Slowly but surely, its intensity grew. That light connected the earth and the sky, quietly heralding the dawn of a new era.
